The first destination is the Ukunda market, where visitors can observe the bustling activity of locals buying and selling various goods to support their daily lives. The next stop is a public primary school, and if the school is in session, it is a thoughtful gesture to bring small gifts such as books, pens, or sweets for the students. The tour then proceeds to a village community featuring simple homesteads. A visit to the local Mganga, the Swahili term for a traditional healer, is included. Nowadays, they focus on healing and herbal treatments rather than spell-casting.
