Fantastic - My friend and I had a tour with the wonderful Eliza and I cannot rate her any higher than the 5 stars it allows! On a cold Kiev day Eliza showed us all the incredible sights Kiev has to offer over the 6 hours. Her knowledge was outstanding and her history of the city amazing. She was able to educate us and had us hanging off every word she said. We felt blessed that Eliza also through in some personal touching experiences of her life in the city and we thought that was such a beautiful touch. My compliments to her and the team for a wonderful experience. Any one that travels to the city should most definitely utilise this tour!!!

Kiev afternoon highlights - Fantastic day. Our guide Eliza was both knowledgeable and personable. She had an incredible amount of history to share in her beloved Kiev. She tailored our time to us and showed us awesome little gems to explore later on our own including great food spots. I believe we would have missed so much of our Kiev experience if we hadn’t spent the day with Eliza. Do this tour, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing time in Kiev - Short Review: Here is what might be going through your head contemplating should you go through it and book the tour for 6 hours walking?! Well, this is what went through my dump head too when I was looking for something to do in Kiev. It’s 6 hours and walking all day I might not see something worth seeing in the first place. I would probably get tired and quit, because that’s who I am. All that is crap. Those hours flew by so fast. There was a story to be heard in every corner. There was a legend to be told in every turn. There was something to enjoy on every wall in the city. So, my friend, don’t think twice and try it out. If you still think it is too much then taking the 3 hours tour is your absolute minimum. So get your camera and your walking shoes and get going. Long review: This is for the people who still want to know more. I’ll divide it into 3 parts: Booking and reception I started booking 4 days before my trip which was way too late. And guess what, I received a confirmation within an hour. It was blazingly fast. I received an email with confirmation of the plan and tour details. This plan would help you if you are applying for a tourist E-visa. Arranged the time and location of the tour start point and I chose my hotel. 3 hours ahead of the scheduled tour I received a text reminded me of the meeting location and time just in case I would be away or might have forgotten about it. Right on the money, at the exact time we agreed on not even one minute late, I received this massage “I am downstairs”. A worm welcome and greeting. And we headed out to start the promised tour. The tour The tour started by getting to know how long have I been here and if I have seen some of the places around. Which is good. You don’t want to see the same thing you have already seen. The guide showed me around my hotel, what to expect and what public transportation I could use. Then we headed towards the old city. Along the way you would listen to amazing stories about people who really made difference in Ukraine’s history poets, revolutionist and even authors. We went through most cathedrals and I learned amazing stories about them. Saw some street arts and got into a debate which I lost. We also went through some restaurant to try out Ukrainian foods. It was awesome and tasty. There was this place where it is hidden and you get to go through if you knew the password. That was interesting. At the end of the tour we hit some bars and those people knows how to make a drink. Salute to them. Along the way you learn about the history of Kiev since the ancient times through the soviet era until the modern days. Boy, this country went through hell and back many times. I actully did not expect that the drop off would be my hotel lobby. I thought by the end of the day I would have to take a taxi or something. but we walked back to the hotel were my awesome day ended. It is a hip city, its modern and its ancient all at the same time. I loved this city. The guide Her name is Ksenia. She was very accommodating and adjusting towards what you would like to see and know about. A word of advice though, listen up to everything she says. She has a lot to offer and a lot to explain. she is funny, knowledgeable and sincere. So, thank you very much and wish you well in your future endeavors which I bet will be awesome ;)
