Highlights
  • Maidan Nezalezhnosti & Khreschatyk Street - Our tour begins at Independence Square, also known as Maidan, the heart of modern Kyiv. The main street, Khreschatyk, runs through it, showcasing a striking contrast between Stalin-era architecture and contemporary monuments. Take in the view before embarking on your adventure!
  • Bessarabs’ka Square - Once the city border, Bessarabska Square has transformed into the core of Kyiv over the past century. Its main attractions today are the Bessarabsky food market and the Arena City commercial complex, both notable for their grand and historic architecture.
  • L’va Tolstoho square - Named after the renowned Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, this square features a blend of late 19th-century and Soviet-era buildings. It was the city border about 150 years ago and has since evolved into a vibrant neighborhood with numerous restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
  • National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv - This optional stop offers a stunning view of the red-and-black building of the Taras Shevchenko National University, rumored to be haunted. You can appreciate its beauty from the car window or during a short walk around the nearby park. You’ll also pass by the Teacher’s House and Kyiv Opera.
  • Sophia Square - From the car window, catch a glimpse of Ukraine’s oldest cathedral, St. Sophia of Kyiv, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the center of the square stands a remarkable statue of Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, a skilled military leader who sought to create an independent Ukraine nearly 400 years ago.
  • Mykhailivs’ka square - Michael’s Square is situated between Kyiv’s most famous churches, St. Sophia and St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedrals, whose splendid architecture leaves no one indifferent. As you drive past, you’ll also see the Kyiv Pentagon and the former headquarters of the Communist Party of Soviet Ukraine.
  • Friendship of Nations Arch - The Nations Friendship Arch marks the start of Kyiv’s main street, Khreschatyk. With a new pedestrian bridge added to the site, it has become the top viewing platform to take in the beauty of the ancient Podil area, the green islands on the mighty Dnipro River, and the bright Park Bridge below.
  • Poshtova Square - Named after a post office that operated there before World War II, Poshtova Square is one of the oldest inhabited areas in the city, according to archaeological finds. It is a popular spot for locals to relax, with many coming to the river port for a stroll along the Dnipro River embankment.
  • Naberezhne Hwy. - Have you heard about the legendary founders of Kyiv? You can encounter them in a boat, ready to set foot on land. The monument is an enlarged replica of a silver figurine presented to Richard Nixon during his 1972 visit to Kyiv. Located on the Dnipro River embankment, it can be viewed from the car window or up close if you choose to take a short walk. During your ride, you’ll also see the famous pedestrian Park Bridge, Metro Bridge, and Paton Bridge.
  • Metro Bridge - The Metro Bridge points to the hill concealing the world’s deepest metro station, Arsenalna, one of the first five underground stations launched in 1960. The bridge was constructed shortly after. From the car windows, you’ll also see the renowned Paton Bridge and enjoy a panoramic view of the Left Bank of the Dnipro River.
  • Русанівська набережна - Ever dreamt of traveling back in time? Kyiv’s Rusanivka offers just that. It appears to be a typical Soviet-style residential neighborhood until you realize it’s an island—the first artificial island of the former USSR, created in the early 1960s. It remains largely unchanged and has its own unique charm. Surrounded by a channel with fountains, Rusanivka is often called Kyiv’s Venice. Enjoy its beauty from the car windows.
  • Paton Bridge - Connecting the two banks of the Dnipro River since 1953, Paton Bridge is the world’s first all-welded bridge. As you cross the river, you’ll see a breathtaking panorama of the historic Right Bank, with the golden domes of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery and the Motherland Statue in the background.
  • Ukrainian Motherland Monument - Don’t miss the chance to see one of the world’s largest monuments—the famous Motherland Monument. It looks grand during the day and even more impressive at night! Enjoy the sight as you pass by.
  • Heroiv Krut Alley - This stop offers an ideal view of the Dnipro River with half of Kyiv in the background. You’ll also see the golden domes of the famous Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery and the Holodomor Memorial “Candle,” whether you stay in the limousine or step out.
  • Arsenalna Square - Drive across Arsenalna Square, known for its complex of 19th-century Kyiv Fortress buildings and the world’s deepest metro station, Arsenalna, located 105 meters underground.
  • Mykhaila Hrushevskoho Street - You’ll pass by the former royal Mariyinsky Palace, parliamentary and government buildings, all lined up along Hrushevsky Street. The area, known as Lypky, is considered a prestigious place to live.
