Your guide will collect you from your chosen location and take you to the military museums in Kyiv, either by public or private transport. Each museum focuses on a distinct era of Ukraine’s military history and showcases various military artifacts. You’ll have the chance to explore a military vehicles display and admire the panoramic view from the Kyiv Fortress’s military bank. A lunch break will be served at one of Kyiv’s premier traditional Ukrainian restaurants, featuring a rustic, countryside ambiance. You can invite your guide, or dine solo. You’ll then visit the Lavra monastery, a blend of religious hub and fortress, encircled by walls erected by Peter the Great during the Great Northern War. The tour includes a wine tasting session where you’ll sample three types of top-tier Ukrainian wine. Our sommelier will guide you through the history of Ukrainian winemaking and educate you about each wine variety. If wine isn’t to your liking, we can forego the tasting and include your lunch in the tour, which consists of two main dishes and a refreshing juice.
