Great tour to get connected to Kiev - Thanks to Iryna we had an unique and interesting tour. In addition to seeing all the important sights and learning the history behind them, she also showed us some smaller sights and places, which really helped to find a connection to the city. The communication was great, she speaks English very well and was especially friendly and helpful. You should be able to walk a few hours if you want to do this tour, but it is worth it!

The best way to see Kiev - I took a full day tour with Iryna and I cannot recommend it too highly. Iryna is so well informed, so enthusiastic about Kiev and its past and so flexible in meeting individual requests. We did walk a long way but also took the bus and metro and these trips added to my insight into life in Kiev. it was a very special experience. Alan

Rewarding experience - Me and my friend had only few days in Kiev and a full day tour seemed suitable for us. We weren't disappointed. We learned about history of Ukraine and saw interesting sights of Kiev. Iryna is a great and very professional guide who knows a great deal about the history of Ukraine buyt we also talked about what's been going on in the country lately. Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was the main destination in our tour and it was very interesting experience. Although it was hot day in Kiev we enjoyed the tour thoroughly. Also traditional Ukrainian restaurant recommended by Iryna was really nice and communication with Iryna before and after the tour worked very well. Full day tour was really worth time and money. Strongly recommended.

Friendly - Relevant - Perfect Pace - Spending a day seeing Kiev with Iryna was an absolute joy! She is eager to share about her country and it shows the whole tour through. She took me to all the key spots, shared great historical context, and was ready to discuss any questions I had about contemporary Ukraine. I came away with a much better picture of Ukraine’s history and people. I highly recommend a tour with Iryna!

Drawbacks to know about - Iryna is very sweet, but reviewer should know that this is a tour that is completely on foot and public transportation. Do not expect a private car or driver, as there is not one. Tour pays for public transportation, but not lunch. A little grueling, lots of steps up, very pretty walk through the park lasting about 30 minutes. Although Iryna is sweet, she was strong on history, but lite on culture. In this regard, I learned more from listening to other tour guides who comment on the cultural parts. When considering a tour in Kiev, please read descriptions carefully and weigh cost benefit..
