Amazing tour - We had an amazing tour with William. He took us around on an amazing tour that included all the highlights we could possibly want. Truly an experienced we will never forget. He shared so much incredible information and was so generous. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Isle of Skye - Our tour guide, BillieMaclean, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond in all ways. Friendly and courteous. Very informative and certainly shows how much he loves doing the tours. I felt like he was a friend after we finished. Such a wonderful guy!!!

A fantastic 2 days - Lawrence did a great job, first with the Isle of Skye tour, and then a day visiting distilleries. Super knowledgeable and very friendly, he even took us to lunch at the most amazing whiskey bar I've ever seemed. Very accommodating.

Can't go wrong with this tour - We had the pleasure of Billy and Lawerence guiding us through much of the Highlands these past few days. We did multiple tours with them and each one was spectacular. The views, the history, all of it was excellently prepared. For me, the Isle of Skye was particularly beautiful. My family was hoping to learn about our heritage and the area in general on this trip, and Lawerence and Billy helped us accomplish that and then some. Cannot sing their praises enough. Next time I come to Scotland I will definitely be reaching out to them once more.

10/10 Day on the Isle of Skye - We had the best day with Billy! He went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience touring Inverness and the Isle of Skye. Generous with time, always down to make spontaneous stops, and kind enough to stick his face in a river that grants eternal beauty with me - it just doesn’t get better than Billy! We reached out with only a few days notice, and he made everything on our wish list happen. We hit all the main spots, as well as some fun side journeys along the way. The value of time spent went beyond the sights, though. The flexibility, excellent company, and adventure partner made a great day outstanding. My family will definitely be coming back to Inverness for another trip with Billy and the Highlander Private Tours team!

Lawrence is Incredible!!!! - This tour was fantastic, as were the multiple other tours we went on with Lawrence, and I must say that Lawrence made our trip absolutely incredible! He was kind and funny and very knowledgeable. He balanced being friendly and informative without being overwhelming or distracting. He took us to some amazing spots and went out of his way to make our experience the absolute best it could be. He took us around and told us about the history and culture of places all around Scotland. He planned for every contingency. He brought us snacks and water, umbrellas when it rained, got us tables at great restaurants we never would have found on our own, and recommended the best Highland scotch whiskey around (ask him his favorite; it won’t disappoint!). Lawrence is a true gentleman and feels part of the family by the end of our time in Scotland! The sights and tours here have been gorgeous and amazing, but it has been Lawrence’s guidance, assistance, thoughtfulness, and insider’s info that has made this the trip of a lifetime. I hope to visit again sometime, and I will certainly be asking for Lawrence when I do. Hopefully just in a wee whiley.

Best day on Isle of Skye - Amazing day. We were picked up by Lawrence in Inverness at our accommodation and spent a beautiful day driving to Skye and visiting sites on the way . I can’t recommend this tour enough . Lawrence was a great host , accommodating our interests and taking us to places we would never find on our own, or see as a part of a larger tour . His van was very comfortable and he is a great driver . Driving in Skye is not for the faint of heart. If you love seafood , be ready to have the freshest seafood at the Oyster shack. If you only have one day to spend on Skye , this is the way to do it. Contact Lawrence and he will customize a perfect tour for you .

Fantastic tour - This was a fantastic tour. Lawrence was our guide. He is knowledgeable, accomodating and very thoughtful. He showed us amazing view points and was checking with us on our preferences. My husband and i travelled with my parents. Lawrence ensured we were comfortable and informed us of where we can use facilities etc so it was very comfortable for my parents. He even had cold water, biscuits and chocolates for our journey! He got carrots for us to feed the cows, which was such an extra touch. Cannot recommend this tour and this agency enough!

Lifelong Memories! - Amazing experience! Our personal five-day tour and time with Lawrence in Scotland far exceeded our expectations. A highlight of our touring was the Isle of Skye journey. A full day of feasts for both our eyes and palates accompanied by Lawrence’s stories and excellent knowledge of the area. Memorable time was had at the Oyster Shed - fresh seafood and incredible views, followed by a wee dram (or two…) at Talisker. Perfect tour - We wanted a custom tour to visit the Isle of Skye from Inverness but end the tour in Fort William so we contacted Highlander Private Tours. It was an awesome day, Billy took care of us, understood what kind of activities we wanted to have, let us take our pictures with no rush... it was perfect, we couldn't ask for a better tour.
