Arriving just in time for a lunch break, you’ll have an hour to explore, enjoy a meal, and absorb the local atmosphere. Stroll down to the vibrant harbour, capture some photos, and indulge in delicious local cuisine. It’s the perfect place to refuel and prepare for more Skye adventures - believe us, the journey is just beginning!
• The Old Man of Storr - Prepare to be amazed by one of Skye’s most iconic landmarks: the Old Man of Storr! We’ll stop briefly for a photo opportunity, so have your camera ready to capture this towering sea stack set against a backdrop of rugged landscapes. • Kilt Rock - Continuing our Skye adventure: the magnificent Kilt Rock! Be prepared to be awestruck by the breathtaking cliffs that resemble a kilt! With waterfalls cascading into the sea, it’s a scene straight out of a postcard. You’ll have a chance to take photos, enjoy the dramatic views, and feel the power of nature all around you. Kilt Rock is the perfect place to appreciate the rugged beauty of the Isle of Skye - let’s create some unforgettable memories.
• Quiraing - Be amazed by the Quiraing, one of Skye’s most dramatic landscapes! Upon arrival, you’ll be surrounded by towering cliffs, rolling hills, and stunning rock formations that seem straight out of a fantasy film. This is where nature’s artistry shines, and you’ll want to capture every angle. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh Highland air, explore the paths, and take some epic photos.
• Uig - Time for a quick comfort stop at Uig, a charming village nestled on the coast of Skye! Stretch your legs, grab a coffee, or simply enjoy the beautiful seaside views. Whether you’re recharging for the next part of our adventure or taking a few quick photos of this picturesque spot, Uig is the perfect place to refresh.
• Sligachan - Next on the list: Sligachan, where Highland legends come to life! This iconic spot is renowned for its stunning views of the Cuillin mountains and the picturesque Sligachan Bridge. We’ll take a moment to enjoy the scenery and capture some photos of this magical backdrop. Legend has it that if you dip your face in the river, you’ll be blessed with beauty - so why not give it a try?
• Achnasheen - Time to stretch your legs with a short comfort stop at Achnasheen! This quaint Highland village is the perfect place to recharge, grab a quick snack, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings before we continue our adventure. It’s a brief pause, but just enough to catch your breath.

The day begins bright and early with a visit to the legendary home of Nessie at Scotland’s renowned Loch Ness! As the journey winds through the Highlands towards the west coast, majestic mountains give way to expansive sea lochs once traversed by Vikings. The next stop is Eilean Donan Castle, where an optional tour offers a deep dive into Scotland’s fierce and captivating history.

Following that, the highlight of the trip awaits: the Isle of Skye! Along the route, tales of legendary clans, daring escapes, and the myths that shape this land will be shared. Lunch will be enjoyed in Portree, allowing time to explore its lively harbour before visiting the iconic Old Man of Storr—a sight that will leave a lasting impression. The journey continues to Kilt Rock, where a dramatic waterfall cascades into the sea, before concluding with the surreal landscapes of the Quiraing.

The adventure concludes with a scenic drive back to Inverness, showcasing Scotland’s breathtaking scenery just in time for the evening.

• The order of the itinerary route is subject to change.
• Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.
• It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
• Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
• This tour may run in conjunction with our sister company, Highland Explorer Tours.
• Eilean Donan Castle can be subject to closures for private events. If so, additional time will be allocated elsewhere and the castle will be a photo stop.
