A Wonderful Evening - Had a lovely evening learning about japanese whisky. My husband enjoys whiskey a lot more than I do but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well. You will given a booklet with all the relevant information and you can take your time tasting the whisky. Togouchi was a favourite! The food is great too - the pizza was incredible. The man who served us (owner?) was very kind.

Totally delightful - We loved this experience! It is a great, low key way to get to try several different whiskeys, all at your own pace. The staff, who only speak Japanese, couldn’t have been more friendly and made everything so easy. They give you a booklet that describes the whiskeys that we supplemented with some info from the Internet. They also give you a chart and a pen to make your own tasting notes. Then, at the end, they show you the prices. After the tasting, they provide a delicious antipasto plate and very, very good pizza. Go and you will LOVE it!!!

Whiskey Experience - We recently enjoyed a fantastic self-guided Japanese whiskey tasting, and it was an experience to remember. The setting was relaxing and allowed us to truly savor each whiskey without feeling rushed. The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were given detailed print-outs about the history of Japanese whiskey, covering its origins and evolution. Each of the ten whiskeys came with an informative description, highlighting the distillery that crafted it. The tasting included a sheet for us to jot down notes on each whiskey’s aroma, taste, and finish, which made it engaging, educational, and a great guide for future purchases. The tasting concluded with a delicious pizza, which was the perfect way to wrap up the experience. A great combination of flavors, knowledge, and relaxation—highly recommend for any whiskey enthusiasts or those curious about Japanese whiskey! (Don’t forget to add a splash of water to each one to experience the changes in flavor).

Unique and fine - The whiskey tasting was a fun experience! The range includes a number of unique whiskeys that you won’t find anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend it!

Great fun - The Nems Cafe staff are extremely accommodating and polite. This was a fun activity and was a birthday treat for to of our party. The supplied food is of high quality and is prepared in the cafe’s kitchen. Highly recommended for lovers of whisky or those who are on the fence.

Good experience to learn about Japanese whisky!! - It was fun to compare 10 different types of Japanese whisky, from famous whiskies such as Yamazaki to craft whiskies. The paper explanations about the back story of each Whiskey is very interesting! I was also surprised to find that the whiskies I found delicious were sold at very reasonable prices. After the tour, I immediately went to buy some at the liquor store I was told about. My family does not drink alcohol, so we enjoyed the food at the restaurant. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy various Japanese whiskies.
