Child friendly tour in Kyoto - This tour was exceptional. Our tour guide Yuna works in early childhood so was incredible with our kids (8 and 11). We learnt a lot about Buddhist and Shinto customs, visited two zen gardens and had an amazing vegetarian lunch at a Buddhist temple. Also we saw the bamboo forest (this was the busiest part of the tour). If you book this then book Yuna!!

this was like touring with good friends! - Peco was our lead guide and Kirby was our guide-in-training. Both guides were very informative and very friendly. Peco always had the best suggestions for photo spots and was happy to take many beautiful photos for us. She also shared much historical context and other details so we could fully appreciate the gardens that we visited.
This walking tour felt as if we were travelling with our friends, and we loved the entire experience.

Sunny day in Arashiyama - Before walking in Arashiyama Bamboo forest, visited some temples with Nobu and Yuki. I have learnt from them about culture and history and of course I gained a lot experiences. Thank you for the perfect day.

Bamboo forest and temple/shrine walk - The tour was awesome! Josh was a very good tour guide, if you get him you are lucky! We visited many shrines and temples and got an in depth overview and history of each one. The bamboo forest was also very good too! Highly recommend!

A fun, Insightful Journey Through Kyoto Arashiyama - I had a fantastic experience on this tour with Naru as my guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, answering all my questions about the places we visited and even general ones about Japanese culture.
The itinerary included several temples with fascinating histories, the famous bamboo forest, and beautiful gardens. As I was traveling alone, I appreciated having plenty of time to take in the scenery and capture some amazing photos. Naru also guided me to less crowded spots, which made the experience feel even more special.
Lunch was another highlight—a delicious and filling meal at a tucked-away traditional monk’s kitchen. Naru took the time to explain each dish, adding a cultural and culinary dimension to the tour.
The tour ended at the Togetsukyō Bridge, and I’d recommend taking a bit of extra time afterward to visit the nearby monkey park. The monkeys are adorable, and the view from the mountain is stunning!

Beauty, History, and Meaning - I’m at a lost for words. Fuji son is truly a treasure that should be protected at all cost. If you’re looking for a tour that not only puts this country’s beauty on display but also has the historical backing to give depth to what you are seeing, then this is the one for you. Fuji son was an excellent guide and a pleasure to spend the day with.
