A warm but very insightful and nice day at Kyoto - Paul was an excellent guide who knew a lot about Japanese culture and history. An informal introduction to many items making it easy to digest.

Cycling Kyoto is a cultural experience with Indra! - The biking tour with Indra was truly amazing. We covered 18 miles and saw sites that are not possible by walking or using a bus. Cycling around Kyoto is part of Japanese culture and you become submerged. Indra has excellent English and is a fountain of knowledge. We learned more with Indra than on any other tour. We highly recommend cycling Kyoto with Indra.

Biking Kyoto is the way to go! - Cycling Kyoto is the way to see the city, shrines and experience the culture first hand on a bike. We traveled through the city and back roads to several famous shrines, had lunch at a 300 year old cafe and learned the rituals used when visiting the shrines and rode through the Gion District. Our guide, Quin was fabulous! He explained the history, let us experience the rituals at each of the shrines. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Best way to see Kyoto! - Great way to see Kyoto. Generally flat, the route is safe and easy to follow. Much more fun to bike than to walk. And our guide Paul was knowledgeable, fun and very organized in sharing little stories at each stop. Our teens who would lose interest if they had to listen to long presentations were engaged and had fun the whole day. We saw ALOT and lunch was delicious

The best way to tour Kyoto! - Nice, efficient way to see the sights of Kyoto. There is a breeze when biking which you don’t get when walking and it was a welcome change to trains and buses. Delicious udon + donburi lunch and had a snack while cooling off in the river. Our guide, Paul, made it fun and interesting. Taught us much about the history of the places we visited, shared little tidbits about the Japanese culture and contrasts between living in the US and Japan since he has experienced both. My teens were engaged and had a great time because he told some fun stories about things we saw along the way. Besides the have-to-see tourists spots where we had to join the throngs of people, there were also many littler known places that were just as much worth visiting. He was always watching out for our safety, making sure no one lagged behind. Checks in about food restrictions. A few times he picked up garbage left by others; likely tourists who aren’t as careful with leaving things around. I was impressed! Despite it being a hot day, the day passed quickly for us. We aren’t a family that rides bikes much and we found it easy to follow his lead around town.

Highly recommend - Great tour of the city, with a good mix of quiet areas and main attractions. We had Carl as our guide, who's an absolutely lovely person, full of personality, and kept things fun all day. Lunch was delicious too (unlike some other tours I've been on). The pace was perfect, and seemed to suit everyone in the group. Thank you for a lovely day ☺️

Great day - Harn was fabulous, his knowledge and the places we visited in short time amazing. The weather was perfect, blue sky's and lots of bright sunshine. The only thing I didn't like which couldn't be helped was the amount of people at the Golden Temple.
