A fun and unique experience - Our guide, Ron-san, a Kyoto native gave us a nice introduction to Maika and Geisha and was very pleasant and engaging. Seeing a Maika dance and being able to ask her questions was a very fun and unique experience. The duration also was just right.

A very special experience - The Maiko (apprentice Geisha) dance was an incredibly special performance and will absolutely be a highlight of my time in Kyoto. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I would gladly recommend this to anyone.

Geisha show - We booked the geisha show at the same time as the early morning trip and I had expected to be dropped off there after this experience.However they were two different trips and we had 2 different guides. The guide for the Geisha experience was very good he what’s app the meeting place and when we arrived he gave us a tour of the geisha district and then we arrived at she destination. We were greeted very warmly and were given tea and then the mika lady arrived and she did her dance and she seemed very charming. It was a lovely experience and as there was only one other person in the group it seemed very initimate and the guide explained everything that was happening. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would recommend this we did not feel rushed and had a great time

Art of Geisha - Great tour highly recommended! - I had a wonderful time on this tour in Kyoto in the beautiful Gion district. It offered a unique and exclusive opportunity to watch a Maiko performance, with the added bonus of being able to ask questions in a lovely setting. We also played a traditional Japanese game, which was a fun experience. As a thoughtful touch, each participant received a signed fan as a gift.
A huge thank you to Rin and his colleagues (trainees) for the amazing tour. I highly recommend it!

An authentic and interesting experience - Tommy was an excellent, friendly and helpful guide full of interesting background information about the Geikko world. The Meikko performed exquisitely and was happy to share details about her choice of career and its challenges and rewards.

Maiko dance - It was a moving experience. The maiko was very charming, the dances were beautiful and she answered all our questions extensively.
The walk prior to that was informative despite the rain.

A beautiful memory of my time in Kyoto - My tour guide, Moeka, was very professional in arranging my meeting with the maiko, providing useful tips on etiquette. I got to see a beautiful performance, received a signed fan, and even managed a stroll through the streets of Gion where we could see many maiko and geiko dashing between appointments.

Maiko Dance - It was a great experience to see the dances . We were able to ask the Maiko questions, and played a funny fan game. And all in a private room with few guests. Our guide Kanji was very amiable and well informed. Can only recommend it!!!

Amazing Tour - Amazing tour around the Gion area of Kyoto with a set of wonderful guides. They provided a lot of great insights into the history of the area as well as into Maiko and Geiko culture in Kyoto. The Maiko performance was absolutely amazing and well worth the tour just for that.
