A fabulous activity - This was a really great experience, the ladies were absolutely fantastic. We got to practice for a while first and then painted directly onto a fan. We then painted on a piece of card which was framed. Finally we wrote our names onto a typical gift envelope. 5000 yen in total which I think was fantastic value. The session lasted a total of two hours. Really enjoyed this activity.

Excellent Calligraphy Class - Waka was amazing! They went out of their way to give an excellent calligraphy lesson and were very supportive and patient. If you are in Kyoto I strongly recommend booking in for a lesson with them.

Wonderful calligraphy experience. Loved it. - Wonderful experience for myself and my 6 year daughter. Loved the writing but more important the teachers were so nice and loving towards my daughter. Highly recommend.

Very cute and fun use of time! - Very much enjoyed the calligraphy class - we got to write our names and our favorite word in Japanese Kanji. The class came with a photo frame of us and the custom fans we made with our calligraphy. Highly recommend - fun and friendly staff.

11/10! - This experience was absolutely amazing. The team here is extremely attentive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. We learned so much and made a ton of memories and souveniers in a short time. 100% recommend.

Fun and creative calligraphy experience on our Honeymoon! - We had a great time with our calligraphy teachers who were very helpful and encouraging, thanks for all the cheering and clapping! Great that we learnt how to make some fantastic Japanese calligraphy art to take home to remember our time in Japan.

Excellent tour guides who went the extra mile. - Yoshimura and May were our fabulous tour guides. Both ladies shared lots of interesting facts about the Gion Festival and traditions of Japan. They also kindly took the time to chase up our ticket confirmation for the Gion Festival the following day. Thank you so much we had a fabulous time!

Unique memories because of Shozo Saka - We had an unforgettable experience because of Shozo Saka, who guided us two days through Kyoto and the areas close by. Shozo picked us already up at the train station and understood from the first minute our deep interest in the history of Kyoto. He made always the best suggestions and showed us very unique places and trails. He made our wishes came true and because of his excellent English we learned so much in a very unique and spacial way. Besides the memories we have, Shozo prepared us with little brochures and saved our tickets from the entrances we bought as well as he took perfect pictures of us. Even after two weeks already at home we still can't believe how precious we are to make those memories. Thank you Shozo. See you next time :)

Great professional service at Kyoto 👏🏽👌🏽 - We used their services twice for long trips in Kyoto, they have excellent service, on time, very helpful and friendly. First driver - unfortunately I don’t remember his name - came on time, took us for a long road trip. He knew shortcuts which google maps did show which saved us almost 25~30 minutes and we avoided traffic. Second driver - Shozo Saka - he was very helpful as well, on my second trip it was photography trip, he helped me watching my son during my photo shoot in multiple locations. Without his assistance, I wouldn’t get the photos that I wanted. The trip was 9:30hrs long Thank you MK taxi for the great service and thank you for choosing the right people for the right job.

Fun learning experience - We took the 5000 yen course and got our moneys worth. You do a lot of different things like post cards, fans, a few words and a framed card. The people were very nice and patient! Wonderful experience.
