Fantastic tea ceremony experience - This was a fun experience where we got to see and learn about the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. We even dressed up in kimonos (they did our hair, too!). All in all, a very memorable time!

Nice - Great Experience and nice to when on Japan. I did this activity with my 2 teens and they enjoyed it as well. Loved dressing up in the Kimonos while learning a little about the Japanese culture.

Great memories in Kyoto - Excellent experience. The staff were adorable and attentive. We arrived and were ushered into a fitting room for our Kimono fitting. They did a fabulous presentation of the tea ceremony and then plenty of time for pictures. Highly recommend. Must pre-book well in advance.

Authentic expierence - Right from the start you are greeted like a guest. You go straight to dressing in Kimono and taking photos around their garden. The tea ceremony was a very relaxing and awesome expierence. Our host gave us a step by step explanation how the tea is prepared and other traditions that come with preparing tea. Of coarse you end up trying some Matcha tea at the end! I highly recommend for those wanting to learn more about Japanese culture!

Authentic experience! - This was a really neat experience, especially with the kimonos, and learning all about the tradition. Our kids liked the sweets, but not the tea. However, they still enjoyed making the tea and the whole experience. This was one of our favorite experiences in Japan.

A good experience but much shorter than expected - Overall a good experience. Feels very touristy and overcrowded in the entrance. It was a mixed group of 14. First 30 minutes is getting dressed into the Kimono. Got changed across the road, then was offered some photos in the garden. The tea ceremony was next and after all the introductions lasted only about 20 minutes in total. We were shown a full routine and then just shown how to fluff up the matcha ourselves. We drank it, had a sweet treat and it was all over.
