The knife size is approximately 13 to 15 centimeters.
(As each knife is handmade, size may vary by individual.)
Larger knives require more time and resources.
For instance, a standard cooking knife typically takes over 5 hours and costs more than $400.
At studio NIN, we aim to make forging accessible to as many people as possible, offering a two and a half hour session.
Additionally, there are no wooden handles.
This knife is crafted using a traditional and straightforward method, with an iron handle.

Mao, your instructor, is a seasoned knife expert with over a decade of experience in sharpening knives. He will guide you through the knife-making process in a straightforward manner, perfect for beginners. While some tasks may be hazardous, rest assured. The highlight of the experience is “forging,” where hot iron is repeatedly hammered. Detailed instruction on proper hammer use will be provided.
