Best Thing I Did in Kyoto - The elegance of the dance with the shamisen and singing accompaniment was possibly the most culturally Japanese event I have ever personally witnessed. It actually made me misty-eyed. I would highly recommend this activity. Includes admission to the museum.

Unique experience - It was a unique and beautiful experience of Japanese culture. It was a nice extra to also have entrance to the museum and the serene and lovely garden.

Enlightening - It was a great introduction to the geisha world. Worth the money. It wasn’t super engaging for little kids after the dance, but they did have a nice garden for them to run around in

A place where you can have a valuable experience! - It was a very valuable experience because I don't usually see maiko and geisha close up! It was a world I didn't know, so I wanted to know more about Kyoto culture because I knew so many things.

Experience beautiful Kyoto!! - This time, recommended by a friend, I went on a family trip to Kyoto!! Kyoto's red-light district culture, of course, It was very satisfying to see gorgeous ornaments, kimonos, and geisha and maiko, and to have a different experience from the previous trips to Kyoto such as visiting temples! I thought that I could easily experience the beautiful culture of Kyoto and that overseas customers would be very happy. It's good to know where it is! 笑

I met a geisha. It was beautiful. - Somehow a culture that you just know from a movie or a book ... especially the red-light district, which is hard to see or hear directly, so I was glad to have this kind of open place. Apart from the exhibition, there was a stage. I couldn't take pictures of the stage, so I had to burn them into my eyes. Geisha was beautiful. I think all girls will fall in love with maiko and geisha! After I finished watching the stage performances, I was completely dressed up like an idol, taking a lot of pictures of the flower business cards and fans on display, and I was excited when I saw the Okiya sign that I stumbled upon on my way home. I might have bought Axta or something. They showed me a movie of Miyako Odori at the theater on the way home, Please show me the location of the theater.

Great experience but don’t miss museum tour - Kyomi dance was good but recommend you go early and explore the Art Museum first so you can read about some of the Geiko culture beforehand - also it’s probably cheaper to buy the tickets directly at the Gion Art Museum while you are walking through the area - lots of time slots available for dance performances during the day

Discover traditional dance - Timeless and hypnotic experience. The museum part (kimonos) is also magical. The show is short but the magic is working.
