Ichiro Fujita - Best Guide - Ichiro was our best guide in Kyoto. A perfect gentleman who speaks fluent English and is full of knowledge about everything we saw during the day. We definitely recommend his service. Many many thanks Ichiro.

Very Enjoyable Tour - Our tour guide was Andy Murao, and he was knowledgeable and took good care of us. He was flexible and accommodated us when we wanted to adjust the places we wanted to visit, and when we were tired, showed us a good place to rest and have an ice cream. He also took care of my younger teenage daughter when he noticed she wasn't so much into shrines and museums, and since she is interested in marine life, at Kiyomizu he brought her off to show her where there were fish in the ponds, etc. which was really thoughtful of him. I felt he went the extra mile. I am interested in Geisha, and when we happened to walk past a maiko on the street, he happened to take a photo of me that also included the maiko among the passersby, which has become quite a special keepsake for me. We enjoyed the tour with him and also chatting with him and hearing about life in Japan. I would recommend this tour.

Ichiro was a great guide! - Had an amazing day with Ichiro! He was a wonderful guide, and taught me a huge amount about the history of Kyoto and Japan. We saw the beautiful Nanzen-ji temple and Nijo palace, and he was happy to make adjustments to the itinerary. Would highly recommend the experience.

The best way to get to know Kyoto in a day - We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to make this tour with Akira-san, who as a guide was not only competent, attentive, complete and careful, but also great company in general. We laid out what seemed like an ambitious plan of going around key spots in some Kyoto areas and we were able to really enjoy all of them in the alloted time without feeling rushed or feeling like missing out. Akira-san was very well prepared to provide helpful explanations and context to the landmarks, and was knowledgeable of different activities to mix things up in a way that was perfect for us. Akira-san also went the extra mile of making recommendations and helping us make arrangements for restaurants in Kyoto, all of which we were happy with. At first we had booked the wrong dates and initially spoke with another guide who was also immediately helpful and available, so I can say between that and our experience with Akira-san - you can't go wrong with this tour because a great guide will certainly be there with you.

Nara Park and Temples One Day Tour - This my husband and I second visit to Japan and we decided that we wanted to go back to the Nara area and visit the park and various temples and shrines. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and amended his template to fit in with our needs. We visited Kasugataisha, The Kohfukuji Central Golden Hall and National Treasure Hall and the Todai-JinTemple as well as walking through Nara Park and seeing all the deer. We both enjoyed ourselves and the tour was a great day out.

Incredible Experience - My wife and I had the pleasure of corresponding and touring with Yuka! It was clear she was sincerely excited in our interests: she helped us visit every location on our wish list, provided invaluable insights into Kyoto's history and culture, and kept us cool in the August heat with efficient use of the subway and bus routes. I highly recommend working with Yuka and the Japan Guide Agency.

Best Tour Guide in Kyoto! - We had Kazuo Sumi as our Guide Tour for Kyoto and we couldn't be happier! He was great with communication from the moment we booked the tour. Upon meeting us at the Kyoto Station, he made sure we knew what the itinerary was for the day and whether we would like to make any changes. He was so accommodating and understanding with our group as we were a family of 5 (with a 5 yr old). He did not rush us or try to speed through anything. He was thorough in sharing his insights and knowledge at each attraction. Our family really learned a lot from Kazuo and enjoyed the tour with him. It was the hottest day of the year so that heat was brutal for all of us but we were able to see everything that was planned. I was impressed with his schedule and timing. He even made lunch reservations for us at a sushi restaurant that we all found delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful time with Kazuo and i would highly recommend him to anyone! We loved visiting all the sites in Kyoto and am thankful Kazuo made it such a fun trip for our family!

Interesting, fun and informative tour - great guide! - Another wonderful shore excursion arranged by Japan Guide Agency. We were 3 generations and we all thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our very informative guide, Shuji - he was very interesting and fun to spend the day with. We had a bit of a drive from Kobe to Kyoto, but it was well worth this 8 hr private tour. We visited the Arashiyama Area. Walked the Togetsu-kyo Bridge and through the Bamboo Forest, which was breathtaking.Tenryuji Buddhism Temple, enjoyed the beautiful garden. Had a delicious traditional lunch then visited the Golden Pavilllion and the Kitano-Tenmangu Shrine. Finished off with in the Shichiken and Gion Area.
