Biking Kyoto - Great way to experience Kyoto, winding streets off the beaten path with informative stops in between. Refreshing to move faster than a walk but outside of trains, buses or taxis.

Awesome Bike Tour for Kids, too! - Best family bike tour ever. Quin was patient and so knowledgeable. We saw many amazing spots, took pics and had the best ramen. We had bikes that could hold our kids too! Amazing time!

Fantastic tour, with Indra as your tour guide - Indra is an amazing tour guide! We hit the well known temples, shrines, and the geisha district. But more than that, Indra's knowledge of Japan history, the evolution of religion in the country, and advice on what to do after the tour was fantastic! Towards the end, we rode fairly quickly back to Cycle Kyoto to end on time, as Indra was teaching and entertaining us so much at each stop. It was great to be riding outside in the fresh (but cold - late December) air. Highly recommended. Perhaps not for those younger than 12, as riding across some of the busier streets can be a bit tricky.

Good Day Out - We were encouraged to take this tour by some friends who had done it a year ago and raved about it being the best way to learn about Kyoto. After experiencing it ourselves, we can definitely see why they loved it! The tour was a great way to immerse ourselves in Kyoto’s culture, and we got to see some beautiful sights. Our guide was friendly and spoke English well, which made the experience enjoyable. However, we did feel that the guide’s knowledge was a bit limited at times, and with a group of 5, it was sometimes difficult to hear everything, especially towards the back. The pace of the tour wasn’t sometimes challenging for the kids. On the positive side, the highlight of the tour was the amazing Japanese lunch we had. It was a real treat and gave us a true taste of local cuisine. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and felt it was a good way to explore Kyoto. With a little more attention to being able to hear all information, it could have been even better, but it was still a great day out.
