Very accommodating driver! - Our driver Charith was courteous and very accommodating in taking us where we wanted to go. He recommended drop off points that were easier to walk for my parents who had difficulty walking. He was very prompt with picking us up.

Wonderful way to Day-Max your Kyoto experience. - Our host, Dhanushka, was the absolute best! At the start of our day (8AM) we showed him our wish list of everything we wanted to see and he instantly helped us prioritize things to maximize our experience while minimizing the crowds (at least as much as one can). He instantly knew the bamboo forrest and Monkey Village was best for early AM, with other stops along the way to our lunch stop at the famous Nishiki Market
Followed by a quick trip up a historic street that led up to the wooden Kiyomizu-dera temple.
Then we were off to the famous 10,000 Tori gate Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine (complete with grueling hilltop hike). The coolest part was, at his suggestion, we made this visit last, after nightfall. The walk is well-lit, and at that hour there was hardly anyone there at all. We all agreed this was saving the best for last, because trying to see and appreciate this location wading through a sea of heads would have diminished the experience.
I cannot stress that these included photos barely show the plethora of experience he helped us achieve in our single day in Kyoto. I highly recommend this personal guide tour provided by Dhanushka!

An experice to look for - Great tour covering the entire city in one day. The car was comfortable. We were traveling with a baby and our guide was kind enough to bring a child seat without placing any special requests. The tour guide was very patient with us and very helpful too. A friendly person to be recommended for sure.

Great experience - Took a day trip to Kyoto yesterday with Dhanu. The trip was amazing and Dhanu did a very good job showing us around. Highly recommend.

Excellent day trip to Kyoto - Excellent day trip to Kyoto from Osaka with Hazma, seeing all the must-see sights. The tour was arranged to what we wanted to see and Hazma included history. His vehicle was definitely luxury, and comfortable for our trip. Very easy to do so we wanted in Kyoto.

Dhanu, Super Driver/Guide - Dhanu was excellent as a driver/guide. He went around with us and showed us the best places for photos at each attraction. He also took some photos for us so that all of our family members could be in some of our photos. Unlike our Viator driver/guide in Singapore, Dhanu helped in many ways. For example, because I had back surgery a while ago and am still recovering, he provided information so I could decide where I could and could not go. We highly recommend Dhanu.

We were able to complete... - We were able to complete most of the itinerary. Even though, it was rushed, it was a good overview for first time visit and with the crowds and rain, we did want to get through it efficiently.
The guide, who is also the driver, accompanied us throughout, except for Nishiki Market during lunch. He gave very general comments about the sites and not much more. We learned about his specific experiences of being in Japan, coming from Pakistan.

More than 2 hours late and a driver, not a guide - Driver did not show up at agreed time. Driver arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes late. More driver than guide. No background information on the sites he dropped us at. More of an Uber driver. I was promised a refund for them being late. 3 weeks later no refund and they don’t answer my messages. Would not recommend this outlet to anyone.
