Fantastic day with Ichiro - We had a fantastic day visiting Nara Park, temples and shrines with our guide Ichiro. He met us off the cruise ship at 8:30 am and we took the train to Nara Park, he was very friendly his English was good and he explained various historical and interesting things on the journey. He took us to a tea house for some traditional Japanese food for lunch, which was very tasty. Prior to the holiday Ichiro had contacted me for details of what we wanted to do on our tour and worked round our suggestions. As we are 74 he paced himself to our abilities, which was very good We returned to the ship at 4:30 as arranged. I would definitely recommend this tour as you can select what you want to do and not have to wait for other people

Highly Recommend!! - This entire experience with Ichiro our guide from start to finish was amazing. He truly made our trip to Japan so memorable. Ichiro was informative and educational about every place we visited such as the Bamboo Forest, Nijo Castle, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Nishiki Market. Ichiro made us feel like family, and set the bar very high for any future experiences we had while visiting. Thank you Ichiro, sending you and your family many blessings.

Hiro-San and the perfect day on Kyoto - Hiro-San was absolutely amazing and on point. His dedication to creating the perfect day is second to none. Even when we had to pivot because of an issue on the fast train, he did all that needed to be done to get us on time to visit the Nijo-Jo castle and, at the end, we were the last ones to leave! He also gave us some of the best restaurant recommendations and even walk us there! Fully recommend him and happy to answer any questions about this itinerary.

Best Kyoto travel thanks to Kanagawa sensei! ( Momoyo Kanagawa was more than a guide, she is a generous teacher as well! - I was in a dream….I was traveling alone in Japan for a short 3 days trip & so i had to have someone organise my only full day in Kyoto….i wanted to see, visit and experience some hand picked places and activities, thanks to an amazing and licensed guide with extraordinary experience not only in travel but also, as you know, a profound knowledge of this amazing country! I was in a dream …imagine being a solo traveller who has no idea how to get to Kyoto from Osaka and back to not miss my flight the next day let alone synchronize activities for THAT one day in Kyoto. It was all possible thanks to Japan Guide Agency, our lovely driver who picked me up at the hotel, and the amazing Momoyo Kanawaga with whom i learnt some important Japanese historical facts and got to chat with during the trip…which enriched my Japanese vocab! Arigato guzaimas Momoyo!

Amazing cultural experience! - We began our day with Kazuo picking us up at the hotel. First we visited the popular Fushimi Inari Shrine! Amazing place, some much history and Kazuo knew it all. We took some great pictures. Later we walked to an amazing bamboo forest called Arashiyama! Great place, very peaceful and filled of amazing stories. Kazuo knew all the best spots to take the best pictures and his added bonus, he takes great pics. After lunch we went to other temples and shrines covering the history of Kyoto and we truly were submerged in a cultural learning experience. Fully recommend going to Kyoto and booking with this agency.

An unforgettable experience in Kyoto! - Highlight of our Japan trip! My husband and I were just visiting Japan for the first time - We had Haru as our guide for the day and he really made this experience incredible for us! I had let Haru know in advance that I was pregnant and he was so considerate and accommodating to ensure I was ok the entire day. Before the excursion he had asked for some of the major sites we wanted to see and had a well structured plan for how we would get around the city to fit all these major sites in. He made the travel so easy and stress free. He always taught us about the history of each site before entering each. It was an amazing experience. Haru really exceeded any expectations we had about this tour and made our time in Kyoto one to remember!

Best time with our guide, Haru in Kyoto and Nara!!!! - We had the BEST guide! Haru Yamaguchi was excellent. First, he was incredibly thorough with our full day schedule according to what we wanted to see in Kyoto and Nara and made it all happen. We were in Japan on a 14 day cruise and Osaka/Kyoto was one of our ports. The Gion Festival was on our list of what we definitely wanted to see along with all the sites (and deer) in Nara. For a few months before the trip, Haru was in constant communication with my husband and I, making sure the sites we wanted to see were perfect for us. He met us at the port on time (even though it look a little extra time for us to get off the ship due to immigration issues with the Diamond Princess) we took public transportation to Kyoto from Osaka and he set us up in the PERFECT spot to see the floats in the Gion Festival. There are no words how to describe how magical that was, watching the floats from the best corner and watching them turn the corner. After the festival we took public transit to Nara where we saw all the shrines and temples (I even squeezed through the small hole in Great Hall at Todaiji) We fed the Deer of course! My suggestion would be to wait to feed them until you get closer to the temples, they are more hungrier there. It was also super hot and humid on the day we were there so bring a small electric fan if you are going in the summer. After hours at Nara we headed back to the port in Osaka where Haru dropped us off and said our goodbyes. ** The whole time we were together Haru was explaining to us where we were, what things meant, and the history. He took awesome photos of us and was so kind and helpful in translating. I would recommend this trip and Haru as a guide to anyone that is interested. He was perfect!!
