From there, we’ll swing by a convenience store to grab some drinks. Then we’ll take a walk towards the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. But keep in mind, the bamboo forest will be pitch dark at this time of night, making for a unique and scary experience.
  • Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - We are embarking on an adventure to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest at nightfall. As the veil of darkness unfurls over the forest, the area will be enveloped in an intense pitch-black, transforming it into an enigmatic world of towering, whispering bamboo stalks. Brace yourself for an exhilarating experience, as the eeriness of the darkness could send delightful shivers down your spine.
  • Saga-Arashiyama Station - As our journey reaches its finale, we’ll make our way back to the Saga-Arashiyama Station. Enriched by the memorable sights and experiences, we will end our tour under the soft glow of the station lights. Spooky and Fun - We walked around a bamboo forest at night, and saw a bunch of different landmarks with different tragic stories by them. The atmosphere was creepy, and really kept people on edge. I enjoyed it a lot!

Spooky! - This a was a fun ghost tour! I have to admit, it was a bit spookier than I expected - and I’ve taken a lot of ghost tours. Aaron was a great guide! He was kind and had a good sense of humor as well. My two young adult sons and husband enjoyed the tour too!! Definitely a different way to experience the bamboo forest!
