- Kinkakujicho - Rokuon-ji Temple, also known as Kinkaku-ji Temple, is a historic Japanese Buddhist temple completed in 1397. Located in Kita-ku, Kyoto City, it belongs to the Rinzai sect of the Shokoku-ji school. The temple’s name is derived from Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the third shogun of the Ashikaga clan. The “Sariden,” the temple’s main building, is adorned with gold foil, earning it the nickname “Golden Pavilion.” Please note that tickets for this attraction are not included and should be booked in advance.
- Kiyomizu-dera Temple - Situated in Kiyomizu, Higashiyama District, Kyoto, Kiyomizu Temple was established around 778 by Nobuhiro. The temple is located on Otowa Mountain and is dedicated to the Thousand-armed Avalokitesvara. Originally part of the Hosso Sect, it is now the main temple of the Northern Hosso Sect.
