Do yourself a favor and book this tour :) - Yuki-San provided the most wonderful experience for us today! My son and I had an absolutely amazing time, and I wish there was a better way for my to show our appreciation of the wealth of knowledge and attention to detail that Yuki-San provided us. Quick note - please don’t worry about the tour showing the duration as one-minute long for the destinations, you will get to select a few locations and customize your experience with your guide! We were able to visit the following: Arashiyama Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Kinkakuji Gion In hindsight, we should have only chosen three locations but thanks to our guide’s planning, the use of a couple of taxis to cut down on some travel time, and Yuki-San spending more of her time with us…she managed to fit everything in that we requested. One thing that stood out to me repeatedly today was that there were a plethora of tours being run at the major sight seeing locations we visited. It appeared pretty wild and chaotic for some of those people - the tour guide trying to yell loud enough to be heard by their group, the difficulty in keeping everyone together and on task seemed daunting. In contrast, Yuki-San kept my son and I constantly moving as she kept up an interesting dialogue of historical facts, current ideas, and sharing of ideas. This made the day go by quickly and we were sad when it was over. *Note - another personal touch that I greatly appreciated was Yuki-san’s ideas for my son and I to do on our own for the rest of our trip as she got to know us and our likes/dislikes during the day. *Note 2 - we really appreciate that Yuki-San was constantly taking photos of us throughout the day! These memories are forever immortalized in pictures that my son and I could not have taken on our own! I was waffling for a while before booking this tour - and I am so grateful that I did it! A personalized, guided tour with the phenomenal Yuki-San truly made our Japan trip even more memorable! Thank you so much 🙏

Amazing tour with Ted - We had Ted as our guide and he was absolutely brilliant. We got to see 5/6 amazing sights in Kyoto and it was well worth the cost. Ted explained everything, guided us through the busy streets and easily navigated us on the metro system. He also ensured that we had plenty of photos taken and is a brilliant photographer! We would highly recommend booking, and if you get Ted you will be in for an amazing day. Love from 🇬🇧 Did tour on 6th November.

Kyoto 6 hour private tour - Emi was in contact prior to our leaving the US for Japan. She suggested a few itineraries. As we were traveling with my parents who are in their 80’s, we came up with a flexible itinerary. We went to some popular destinations (turned out it was a national holiday so there were crowds), but we also visited some hidden/less-crowded places. We road 4 different types of trains. Emi was so accommodating, finding places for my mother to rest while we explored more. We shared with Emi some the other things we wanted to do during our time in Kyoto. She was so knowledgeable, patient and took time to provide us with recommendations and how to get to places. Emi even took time when we were at Kyoto station to assist my husband with getting a Shinkansen’s ticket back to Tokyo since he heads back before the rest of us. Our time together went by so quickly! She made sure that my parents got back to the hotel by escorting them back. She gets 5+ star rating from us!

Kyoto day tour 6 hours - Emi was our guide on this tour. She met us in the lobby of our hotel. We had discussed an itinerary a couple of times prior, but changed it up a little bit. We visited Gion, Bamboo forest (Arashiyama), Teruji temple’s garden and the Tofukuji temple. It was a beautiful day and it also happened to be a national holiday. As we were traveling with my older parents, Emi accommodated all of our needs. She went above beyond our expectations. She looked at our itinerary for the next few days In Kyoto gave recommendations and easy directions how to get to other sites that we wanted to see. We rode four different modes of transportation in the city, which was great. At the end of the tour I continued on exploring and she escorted my parents back to the hotel. We so enjoyed our day with Emi And give her a 5+ stars review!

Great tour with Kazu - My wife and I greatly enjoyed our time on the Kyoto tour with Kazu san. He was both friendly and knowledgeable and taught us so much about Kyoto and Japanese culture. Our tour with him was one of the highlights of our entire trip! I would recommend to anybody to spend a day with Kazu san touring Kyoto.

An excellent day in Kyoto - Our experience with Ken was excellent. We learnt so much from him; he was informative, well organised and a lovely person to spend the day with. We packed a lot in, much more than we could have done on our own. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable and interesting tour with lovely guide - We had a fantastic tour with Bell. She put together an itinerary based on information we gave her and sent it to us well ahead of the date of the tour. She sent us an alternative itinerary just before the tour as the weather forecast was bad. When she arrived for the tour we had a discussion about which tour to do taking into consideration the rest of our stay in Kyoto. We ended up visiting Arayshima and then the Golden Pavilion. We benefited greatly from Bell’s local knowledge, visiting quieter places and she saved us lots of time with her understanding of the transport system. She speaks excellent English and is a really lovely person to spend time with. We would highly recommend Bell and the tour. Thanks Bell from Carol and Jane

Kyoto with a fabulous guide - We were so fortunate to have Norifumi Kamron (Nori) as our guide for the day. He tailored a personal itinerary for us based on what we wished to see. Nori was so organized and the day went like clockwork. Great to use public transport to get around and see many things we would not have time for otherwise. Our day incorporated temples, a bamboo forest, the Togrtsukyo Bridge, Monkey Park plus a traditional lunch, a couple of shrines. Nori spoke superb English and explained what we were seeing and how to eat a noodle Japanese meal correctly. We had a lovely lunch. Had no idea that slurping noises were expected! It was a fabulous day thanks to Nori. He also solved a travel problem with our travel card too. Recommend Nori 100%. Thank you.
