GREAT GUIDE. DISORGANIZED TOUR COMPANY - The guide Johannes was EXCELLENT. We recommend Johannes extremely HIGHLY. Kind knowledgeable. Great guide .
The tour organizer company were BAD. They told us they would give us details at 4 pm the day before the tour and they seem to have only advised the guide the morning of the tour. So we had to take a taxi and join the tour 30 minutes later after it had started.

Awesome Walking Tour - Johannes was a friendly, engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. We learned all about Shinto, tried some great street food and even spotted an authentic geisha. Highly recommend him !

Kyoto fun and knowledge! - Had a fantastic and informative time with our guide Robert. Nice tour - Very nice tour of Kyoto, most of all thanks to Diego, our guide! He came all the way to our hotel to pick us up and this is so important because it reduces the risk of being late due to the easiness of getting lost in a city you don’t know. The tour itself gives you a glimpse of places and landmarks of east Kyoto, while also giving you important informations to understand the history behind it. 10/10 would recommend!!

Tour - On our app the time was at 12 the guide had the meeting time at 1 PM. The guide did contact me via WhatsApp, however I had accidentally deleted my message and there was no way for me to contact the guide back on wats up. I had also messaged on the Viator app 12 days prior to confirm my pick up location and there was no response to the message. We had also had paid in our tour for our entry cost which the guide was not aware of. The company was disorganized. However, the guide him self was very sweet and kind. He was also was very understanding and was very educational of the spots we visited.

Bad organizer - really good guide - Really good guide. The trip was just poorly planned.
I booked a private guided tour. And I wrote in advance to the organizer and pointed out that I was interested in Japanese traditional architecture, history and culture. And asked if it was the right trip for me?
The organizer confirmed that they should probably take that into account.
It was not a private guided tour. First we had to spend 0.5 hour to pick up another pair. Then I was told that the guide could not take into account my wishes regarding architecture etc.
If I insisted, I could just cancel the trip.
It was a shame about the poor planning and poor communication because Diego, the guide, was both very welcoming, friendly and thoughtful.
