This will quickly become a blight of your Kyoto trip! - This Tea Ceremony was a highlight of our trip. Such a cool experience, with an added lesson of a little history behind the tea ceremony and its significance. If you can, add it to your list of things to do in Kyoto! ps: this is a little off the beaten path. If you’re relying on transit/trains like we were, it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest train station. But that shouldn’t impact this family business. They were really amazing and hospitable with us once we arrived. 5 ⭐️ for sure!!

Tea Ceremony in Kyoto: An Outstanding Experience - Attended with a party of three, and it was an unforgettable experience. The authentic atmosphere and immersive nature of the ceremony were remarkable. Dressing in kimono added to the depth of the experience, making it even more special. The session was both informative and meditative, striking a perfect balance. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine cultural experience.

A Must Do in Kyoto - AMAZING experience! Small group (2 couples) , authentic, attention to detail and very personal. The woman who performed the ceremony is an authentically trained specialist who gave us the history of everything, without it being too long or drawn out. The actual kimono dressing was much quicker and easier than I thought it would be. I was alao very relieved we didn't have to walk into town wearing our kimonos because of the blazing hot temperatures. The directions they provided were spot-on accurate and easy, even involving a bus ride! We could not have asked for more! It was truly a memory we will always cherish.

An out of this world experience!!! - A fantastic experience. My family really enjoyed this and appreciate the hospitality and kindness of the hosts. This is a must do if you are visiting Kyoto. In addition to the tea ceremony, the collection of Kimonos is out of this world and you get to pick which one you prefer. They have optimized the stage for taking pics which you will enjoy for a lifetime!

Great experience, highly recommend - I think one of the most interesting parts was actually to be dressed in a kimono because there is more to it than first meets the eye. We also had the opportunity to make tea, but our host Caren was much better at it than we were! It is also not as simple as it first appears.

Best tour we did in Kyoto - A little out of the way from centre Tokyo it was such an enjoyable experience. The kimonos were really beautiful and the English translator took some great photos. The tea ceremony itself was so calming and peaceful and it was well explained. It was great to get the opportunity to make your own matcha too!

Good experience - Before the tea ceremony we learned a lot about samurai while the girls in our group were getting dressed. The tea ceremony itself was very nice and enjoyable.
