Early morning tour - Ungodly hour but worth it. - Our guide was amazing, he was warm and friendly, spoke excellent english and provided us with important contextual knowledge of the places we visited. Yes the tour does start at an ungodly hour (and Kyoto Station is honestly quite terrifying at 6am) but it becomes worth it when you go to the Tori Gates and its practically empty. Worth every penny and time. I would highly highly recommend.

Kyoto big three highlights (early edition) - Beat the crowds! This tour, while early, was one of the highlights of our time spent in Kyoto. Sumiko, our guide, was amazing, caring, knowledgeable, and great with our teenage kids! Sumiko knew just how to navigate the public transit system so we could visit all of the sites the tour offers. We enjoyed getting to know Sumiko, and we would recommend her for this tour.

Highly Recommend if You Don’t Mind Walking and Waking Up Early - I think my group didn’t realize how early they needed to get up for this because they’re not early risers… that being said, it’s literally in the name lol. I loved this tour and our tour guide, she was a very kind and lovely person! I also appreciated greatly that we went to the Inari Shrine early. I was able to get some great photos! It gets crowded fast, so I definitely recommend going in the morning. I liked that our guide was flexible with the schedule as well and messaged us beforehand to confirm the schedule. She was very informative and patient with us if we wanted to buy souvenirs which was nice too!

Great Morning Tour of the Kyoto Highlights - Kaz our guide was great! He is very knowledgeable about the sites, was able to take us to a few bonus sites that weren’t on the itinerary and helped give us advice on places to eat and shop! Would give him 10 stars if I could.

Great First Time Tour of Kyoto - Highly recommend booking a guided tour, this one in particular, to anyone visiting Kyoto for the first time. Transportation can be tricky in Kyoto; we had to hop on multiple trains and buses to get to the different temples. It helps a lot to have someone who knows how to move around the city. Our guide was great and very friendly. We got to beat the crowds and cram a lot into one morning: Inari shrine, Kinkakuji, Arashiyama bamboo forest. The tour was informative, if anything a bit light on historical details, but still good enough for a first time tour of the city. Lastly, we ended the tour in Arashiyama instead of being guided back to our original starting point of Kyoto Central Station. After eating, we visited the monkey park nearby, which I think was worth the visit.

Great guide and enjoyable tour! - Wow! We did a lot on this tour! This was a great way to see some of Kyoto's most popular sites. I liked how we got to see the Thousand Torii Gate shrine earlier before the crowds started coming in. Be prepared to do A LOT of walking on this tour, but it was fine. There is so much to see and you will enjoy every minute of it. We stopped for matcha ice cream and went through a train museum. This was all enhanced with a very sweet and informative guide named Hiroko. She was so kind of knowledgeable of everything around us. This was a very enjoyable tour. Thank you so much, Hiroko!

Wonderful Early Morning Walking Tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our Kyoto Early Bird Walking Tour. It did become crowded as the morning went on, so being early was the ticket for us. Our guide, Tomoko, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and was wonderful! There is a lot of walking so a pair of comfortable shoes is a must! Would definitely recommend this tour!
