Walking tour of Nara. - We visited Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Mt. Wakakusa and Isuien Garden. We were blessed with good weather which was fortunate because the places we went to were all outdoors. Fortunately, the shrine wasn't busy so we could take our time getting nice photos. Our guide was very cheerful and knowledgeable about the history and culture and gave us interesting snippets about the area. We had lunch at a local restaurant before hiking up Mt. Wakakusa. The walk wasn't too challenging and the views from the top were wonderful. We got to spend quality time with the deer too. The garden was beautiful. Very peaceful and calming. It was a lovely day. The pace was perfect and we got to enjoy the other places we passed through on our travels. I'm so glad I took the tour and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Nara - Nara is so beautiful place! Hiking on Mt.Wakakusa made me forget my usual life. Views from top of the mountain look like I was in an different place, even It was very close to the center Nara city. Greens are so beautiful, air is clean, and everything made me feel good. Kasuga Grand Shrine also washed my heart. There are lots of shrine buildings colored in red and green and 3,000 lanterns coverd with moss. Cute deers in Nara park are divene messengers! The tour guide gave me a lot of interesing stories about the shrine. Isuien garden was another wonderful place. Two Japanese gardens with rivers are so beautiful and I strolled in the wide garden. Mt. Wakakusa I climbed today is used as a borrowed scenery which made the garden looks very wide. Thank you so much to give me such a wonderful experience today!

Cozy atmosphere - The shrine was really beautiful with unique lanterns. And it was peaceful and quiet. Deer were always close to us and sometimes playful so they made feel us relaxed. After that we climbed up the hill and found the amazing view on the top! Lastly we visited a cozy Japanese garden you can walk around with beautiful green trees. The guide explains a lot about Japanese culture and it was easy to understand. I completely enjoyed all of the places. Thank you!

A wonderful walk in Nara with our guide - This morning we met with our guide near JR Nara station. During today's walk we visited many historical spots in Nara, like KofukunjTemple, park with deers, old area of Nara city, Kasuga Shrine and so on. At this period in Deers' park you can see pretty baby-deers with they mothers. Also you can always feed the deers with a kind of special food for them selling in the park. They got accustomed to the people so you can feed the deers just from your hands. Then we visited Todaiji - one of the largest wooden structure in the world with Great Budda inside. Also, there was Kasuga Shrine with the endless amount of ancient lanterns at the end of today's walking tour. If taking photos is your hobby or you want to take pictures of yourself in an authentic place, Kasuga Shrine is the area where you must go. Our guide told us many interesting stories about Kasuga Shrine and Todaiji Temple, kindly showed the best spots for taking pictures. Also, during the walk in Naramachi (old town area) the guide took us to the shop where we could try some Japanese sweets with sake. It was one of the most amazing days during my trip to Japan.

walk through the historical places of Nara. - Today we visited the city of Nara. In Nara we visited many historical sites such as Kofukun Temple, Deer Park, Nara Old Town, Kasuga Temple and Todaiji. in the deer park all the deer are tame. Little deer have already been born. They are a pleasure to feed and walk among the deer. You can also always feed the deer with special food. Todaiji is one of the largest wooden structures in the world with the Great Buddha inside. This is a majestic structure. which everyone needs to visit. Kasuga Temple with an endless number of ancient lanterns. very atmospheric place. You should also definitely go to Kasuga Shrine. Our guide told us many interesting stories about Kasuga Temple and Todaiji Temple. Also, while walking around Naramachi (old town area), the guide took us to a shop where we could try Japanese sweets with sake. Nara is forever in my heart. thanks to the guide for helping me fall in love with this city and this ancient place with a rich history.

Walking tour of Nara - I have been to Nara before but there is so much to see and so many important and interesting places to visit so it was amazing to be shown around this time by a knowledgeable guide. I really enjoyed walking through Nara’s small downtown shopping streets and learn more about the local food and drink before heading into the park and seeing the landmarks and temples and of course interactive with the deers! I also loved how flexible the guide was stopping along the way and answering some of our maybe strange questions. Really great day discovering the area 😊

Good guide! - It was nice though not very informative. But the guide was very nice and friendly. And I agree with the comments that you could add at least one more place to this tour. Thank you!
