Highly recommend!! - My family and I went on a one day sightseeing tour in Kyoto with Kosuke in July this year. He showed us Komyoin Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Golden Pavilion, Bamboo Forest and Monkey Park. He suggested a wonderful place for lunch called Gontaro, where the food was delicious. So glad we did this tour. Kosuke was a wonderful guide and very knowledgable, he taught us many things. He was really great with the kids and I was very grateful that he provided a car seat for my youngest child. He speaks excellent English so that was also great. He took many beautiful family photos for us which was unexpected so an absolute bonus. Thanks again Kosuke, we highly recommend you!

Awesome tour - Went on a one-day tour of Kyoto and Nara with Kosuke and had a great experience. Kosuke is an excellent tour guide - patient, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. We went to some well-known places as well as some hidden gems. I would love to return to Kyoto and tour with Kosuke again.

Day in Kyoto - If you’re looking for a guide in Kyoto, Ko is absolutely amazing! Our time was limited, and we saw so much more than we could’ve ever seen on our own. He has his own spacious, air conditioned vehicle, which was a life saver for the kids. He took us to well known highlights, as well as less touristy attractions. We had no plans and told him to take us anywhere he thought we should see. He is from Kyoto and his knowledge and passion for his city made the trip extremely memorable. Moreover, he took incredible pictures. Ko is extremely skilled with the camera and captured moments effortlessly, making it look like we’re the only tourists there. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Expectations exceeded from our Kyoto tour! - Our expectation were far exceeded with our Kyoto tour. Kosuke-san was very knowledgeable and interacted well with our family. He created an itinerary that gave us a great perspective of Kyoto. In addition, he was an excellent driver and was able to park very close to the various places we visited. I highly recommend this tour and Kosuke-san!

Amazing tour guide and private driver in Kyoto! - We had Kosuke show us around Kyoto, Nara and Uji over two days. He was knowledgeable and provided us loads of information on all the sites visited. He was prompt, on-time and super considerate at all times. He was engaging with my two daughters aged 10 and 13. Highly recommend him to any families who are looking for an enjoyableand efficient way to tour Kyoto and surrounding areas.

Magnificent you to see Kyoto! - Kosuke was a marvelous tour guide and a wonderful driver. He selected several temples that most tourists do not see. They were lovely and we got a better understanding of Buddhism thanks to Kos!👍. He suggested a great restaurant at the Nishiki Market for tonkatsu! We invited him to join us for lunch which allowed us to learn more about Kyoto and the Japanese culture. My family and I considered our tour with Kosuke to be a major highlight of our 10 day visit to Japan! He was also very accommodating when working with him on the itinerary of our day together! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun 7-hour Kyoto Tour with Kosuke San! - We just concluded our 7-hour tour of Kyoto with Kosuke San! It was a fun-filled day for our family of four, tailored to learn about the Japanese culture particular to Kyoto, see some beautiful sites, and our preference of Ghibli and Miffy shops. We could not have accomplished so much sight-seeing without such a knowledgeable guide. From the beginning, Ko was very generous with his time, answering my many logistical questions via email, even months out from our arrival date. He was very open to our preferences for the tour. Once in Japan, Ko was very responsive via WhatsApp. We visited the Komyoin temple (zen garden), Fushimi inari shrine (numerous red gates), Ghibli and Miffy shops, Kyoto Special Starbucks, Nishiki Market (where we had a delicious beef lunch), Bamboo forest, and almost made it to the Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama (too humid and hot, had to call it a day!). Ko adjusted our itinerary thoughtfully based on our 10 and 13 year old daughters’ preferences. He also took many photos for us! At the end of our tour, Ko kindly took us to Don Quijote to pick up something quickly and then dropped us off at our hotel. We learned so much from Ko about life in Japan. I appreciated him humoring my very limited Japanese. The next time we visit Japan, we will definitely contact Ko again!

Highly recommend for a great tour around Kyoto - We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Kosuke! He knew Kyoto forwards and backwards, and took us to special sights away from the tourist crowds. It made the day feel special with a local guide, and took the stress away from having to figure out how to get to various places - Kosuke had recommendations and catered towards what we preferred to see with options. My family will always have a great Kyoto day to remember! Thank you, Kosuke!

The BEST tour guide in Kyoto! - We booked with Kosuke to take us around Kyoto at the ending of March 2024. We were 4 "older" adults and Kosuke took great care of us and all our tour requests. My older brother's knee was bothering him and Kosuke made sure to get us as close to every stop as possible. He is super knowledgeable about every place you go to and knows all the in- and-outs around Kyoto. He's super flexible with your schedule and will recommend places you didn't know about. For us it was a secret locale that had early blooming sakura in full bloom!!! 😍 Just tell him what you want to eat for lunch and he'll take you to the tastiest place! His prices are reasonable and he's worth every ¥en! Book early because he gets booked months out.

Amazing tour with Kosuke - Kosuke came highly recommended from Facebook and I am so glad I hired him. He has a spacious air conditioned van. He easily navigated the narrow streets of Kyoto and took us to small non touristic areas which was such a great relief, in addition to the usual tourist attractions. We ate ramen at a non touristic restaurant (sooo good) and we got so many wonderful pictures taken! We also were interested in eating warabi mochi and he went above and beyond by taking us to a local temple where we had the mochi with a green tea ceremony (also very quiet non touristy area) . He did this on the fly too as we didn’t request this beforehand. He is worth every penny please hire him, you won’t regret it !!
