- Kiyomizu-dera Temple - Kiyomizu Temple is located in Kiyomizu, Higashiyama District, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It was established by Nobuhiro around 778 (the 9th year of Emperor Hakuki’s reign). The temple is situated on Otowa Mountain and primarily venerates the Thousand-armed Avalokitesvara.
