See it all with a savvy guide - Fujimoto was an excellent driver! We already had an ambitious agenda and had accepted that don't things may have to wait for another day if we ran out of time, but Fuji checked off every item from the list and still managed to take us to additional locations he suggested that turned out great for us. At each stop he had tips for us to navigate quickly, avoid crowds, see rarer sights, etc... and in between stops we learned from him along the way. He also got us a reservation at great lunch spot that we hadn't anticipated. I would happily tour with Fuji again. When you consider how much there is to see in Kyoto, we looked at this as a great investment. It made the rest of our stay more enjoyable because we could ease our pace.

Great guide! - Our driver was so helpful and friendly. We had a very challenging day with heavy downpours and he took us to every place we wanted to go. We had a great experience.

Great for family visiting Kyoto for one day - My family of 4 people only had one day to do sightseeing and having a private driver was very convenient. Our driver was pleasant and was flexible to our requests for pick up and drop off. Kyoto was very crowded with tourists and traffic was terrible at the time of our visit. Having a private driver helped made our short visit to Kyoto more enjoyable and we were able to visit all the sites on the list.

Fantastic tour of Kyoto - Mex was great, he was fluent in English and flexible in adding to itinerary. He took us to JR station to buy bullet train tickets. Excellent guide and driver!

Best of Kyoto in one day! - We had one full day in Kyoto and this was absolutely worth it to see the best of Kyoto in one day. We had our 16 year old and 7 year old with us, so a family of four. Matsu was our driver and was a good, safe driver and very friendly. The vehicle was nice and comfortable. So convenient to be picked up from the hotel and dropped back to the hotel.

Excellent option for touring at your own pace - Excellent tour ... driver was able to pick us up at the hotel on short notice. Communication was excellent via WhatsApp. We were dropped of at all of the sties and allowed to explore at our own pace. More explanation of the sites would have been nice, but was not expected based on the tour description.

Good driver - An extremely efficient way to see many sites in one day without the stress of trying to negotiate public transportation. Lexi was a very good and careful driver and gave us good directions when we arrived at the various sites. I would have appreciated more information on each place before we arrived.

Choose another trip/company to book with - Bad. You basically just get a driver, that’s all. The driver does not speak English and doesn’t know anything about Kyoto. Ours didn’t even live there. The description is completely inaccurate. The driver said he learned English on the job… too expensive for what you get. Highly advise against this experience.
