10/10 Cultural Tour Experience - Mai was the most informative and kind tour guide you could ask for! She not only answered all of our questions, but provided recommendations for the remainder of our stay in Kyoto, and even chose to walk us to our dinner location (which she recommended as a local and was fantastic!). Our tour was well thought out and fit exactly what we were looking for and she was very flexible with what we wanted to do or see as the tour went on. We loved her passion and the way she helped us truly understand local customs. Best experience so far in Kyoto!! 100% recommend to anyone visiting.

Holy Kao - Me and my three adult kids had a great time with Austen. He quickly understood what we wanted and what we could manage in the time we had, and was a funny and charming guide. He even went over time at the end to make sure he left us in a great spot for further exploring. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get the most out of Kyoto.

Pam was our guide for a... - Pam was our guide for a short, 2 hour waking tour in Kyoto, and she was wonderful. Was able to cater and adapt to last minute changes to our itinerary, and made sure that we were getting the most out of our tour. She was very knowledgable about the sites we visited (Fushimi Inari, Yasaka Shrine) and also made navigating by train smooth and easy. Highly recommend this tour and Pam as a guide!

An Unforgettable Kyoto Walking Tour - My husband and I had an incredible 4-hour walking tour of Kyoto with Emi, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. She guided us through the beautiful Gion and Pontocho districts, and we also visited both Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, which made for a truly unforgettable experience. Emi was exceptionally knowledgeable about Kyoto’s local culture, traditions, and history, and we learned so much throughout the tour. She shared fascinating insights that brought each location to life and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the city. What really made the experience special was how polite, friendly, and thoughtful she was. She tailored the tour to meet our needs and pace perfectly, making the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Kyoto, and we would absolutely recommend Emi to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable tour experience.

Aruba! Aruba! - We went to Aruba as a couple to experience the island and visit a cousin who lives there. It was my first plane ride and trip out the U.S. The island is a very beautiful place; the waters are pretty blues (greenish and turquoise colors). There are white sands. They have many palms trees, tall lean cacti plants, and many other beautiful plants and trees. We were picked up from the airport by our cousin who then took us to about three different rental car places until we got a rental car. She then guided us to find our Airbnb. This is where things got tricky. We were not aware that we needed to purchase a SIM card in order to have Internet service and access in Aruba so we did not have any wireless service for GPS or retrieving information in emails or anything. Our cousin didn't have wireless either but she knew the area enough to get us close. The problem was in finding the actual place. Aruba is not big on addresses. There are signs for main roads and some streets but having GPS as a visitor is a MUST. We stopped a few times as our cousin asked locals how to get there and right when I was about to give up and just get a hotel room for the night, the last local our cousin pulled over for help and saved us. His name was Mario del la Cruz with the Mariott Resorts. Our cousin told him our dilemma and as he tried to show us on his GPS, he saw our cousin panicking (a bit). At this point it had been over an hour of us searching for the Airbnb. Mario jumped in his car and took us to the location of the GPS. Even that location was not correct so he was patient enough to call the host of the Airbnb whose number managed to pull up somewhere on my phone. From the host’s directions, Mario led us to the Airbnb. He was such a life saver. We offered him gas money but he declined. Thank you again Mario. You have no idea how much your willingness to help us meant! The very next day we found a Digicel and got a SIM card and were smooth sailing from there. Afterall, we had the Internet and GPS! With GPS we toured Aruba on our own terms. We didn’t book events for snorkeling or going into the submarine or seeing shipwrecks like I wanted because we waited too late, but cruising Aruba on our own terms was just as cool. We drove and visited Baby Beach, the California Lighthouse, the Natural Bridge, be aware, Aruba has a LOT of turn-a-bouts and not very many street names so again, having GPS is a MUST. We enjoyed our dishes at the Cafe080. The Carpaccio there was awesome! Even their virgin mango margaritas were delicious. We also ate at The Red Fish, Linda’s Dutch Pancakes, Willem's Dutch Pancakes, and our very own cousin who cooked us a very traditional Haitian dish; added the best flavors to the trip! Would I visit Aruba again? Definitely, but for now, I have many more places to explore! Oh, and TripAdvisor was awesome as well. It gave us many details of the island, including things to do and visit while there, and the reviews of others helped a lot!
