Amazing experience - I loved the experience from start to finish, both the tea master and her translator were very sweet, warm and welcoming. I travelled with my young daughter who loves Japanese culture and who was very happy with the experience too. One thing I will say to people thinking about booking this experience, it is quite ‘out of the way’. I would not let this deter you because the experience is amazing, but I would recommend taking the subway to the nearest station (maps will be more than good enough to get you there) and getting a taxi / Uber from the station (it’s cheap from there, about 1,000Y which works out at about £5 GBP).

Antidote for the shopoholic - It was a very lovely experience. If most of your Japan trip revolves around commercial shopping and eating this is an antedote to being shopped out. They were so lovely and welcoming.
