Once in a lifetime experience! - This experience was so much fun, and so unique to Kyoto! The experience starts with getting changed into kimonos. The women working at the experience helped us get dressed and did my hair in a traditional style. Then we walked to the tea house, where we first learned how to make two different sweets (which were delicious). Next we watched a traditional tea Ceremony being performed. We were then taught how to make the match tea ourselves in the traditional manner. After that we took a few pictures in the gardens around the tea house, and returned our kimonos. The whole experience took about 2 hours, but I believe we could have worn our kimonos a bit longer while we explored kyoto, as the house where we got changed had a sign saying kimonos needed to be returned by 6pm. I really enjoyed getting to learned about these traditions from locals.

Memorable Kimono, matcha, sweet treat experience - This was a great experience with the staff assistance in dressing for the kimono, to the sweet making demonstration, and the matcha making experience. The area to take photos was beautiful as well. Thank you for the memorable experience.

Great experience calming and informative - This was our first stop in osaka after a hectic week in tokyo. Making the sweets and watching the tea ceremony as well as learning was a great meditative activity. We highly recommend!
