Great family experience horse trekking in the Alay mountains - We had a great time with Homar and Nur Sultan in the Alay mountains. Our kids enjoyed a lot, the landscapes are amazing, the horses very kind and well treated. The organization of the tour was very efficient. We fully recommend!

Highly recommend Visit Alay! - Azi and his team are the best in the business. From the start they were amazing with communication and organised everything perfectly including our very complicated requests. We are from Australia and we travelled for 3 weeks and they were one of the few groups who could organise self drive car hire for the Pamirs. They went above and beyond and organised all paperwork for border crossings and several car transfers and a horse trek all on a custom basis. Azi was available at all times to help with any issue we had. A special shout out to Erlan who was our guide on the horse trek who was excellent and kind mannered.

Wow - It was a wonderful experience. Riding in these wild territories and being in contact with a nomadic family and living their life was truly a life lesson. Thanks in particular to our extraordinary guide Daniel, a young man of 24 years old, very prepared and professional. With him it was possible to interact with the nomads and discover many curiosities of these wonderful people. Thanks Daniel, simply extraordinary

Wonderful experience. - We took the 5 day horse trek through the Alay mountains. It was a great experience. The typically day had about 2 hours of horse riding in the morning, then lunch, then 2 hours of horse riding in the afternoon. This was plenty for us. Then, we stayed at yurts in the evening. We had a wonderful guide and two horsemen during our trip. We had very little (essentially zero) horseback riding experience and the terrain was rugged sometimes, with steep drop-offs. I have a fear of heights, but was ok on the horse. The journey itself is beautiful. More parts of it than I thought had no obvious trail - you are going over grass or stones. There were two about 10-11,000 ft passes that we went over. The yurts were all great. Typically only one yurt for guests and a resident family that was authentically living the herding lifestyle. Food was great and appropriate. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. We didn't see any other tourists on our trip.

Allay mountains trek - I went on a trip into the Allay Mountains near Osh last week and it was fantastic! Timur and his companions were amazing guides, taking us through the beautiful valleys of the area. It’s not a tough trek, only a few hours of riding each day, taking a nice long stop for lunch each day to take in the scenery! If I come back to Kyrgyzstan I would love to go on another trek with them again!

Excursion in the Alay mountains - A fantastic horse trek in the Alay mountains! Even though we were a bit early in the season Visit Alay arranged a really good and safe. We spent one night in the tent and one night in a yurt. I was a beginner at horseback riding, but the trek was no problem. The guides Timur, Erlan and Nursultan were excellent and added to the good experience!

A tour you won’t forget or regret! - Would highly recommend this trip - amazing scenery, helpful & friendly guides and an experience you won’t forget. Think we were especially lucky as it was early season and we were a very small group of 3 (+guides) so had the mountains to ourselves.

Absolutely perfect organisation, guide, horses, landscape, yurt... - What a fantastic trip! "Visit Alay" was very professional - Azi at the office booked the horse riding trip but also helped with booking accommodation in Sary Mogul and giving great hiking recommodations. Our guide Timur and and the horseman were both so lovely and empathic (as we very a bit anxious after a bad experience with a horse). We appreciated so much that Timur spoke fluent English, as in the three weeks before we did not meet anyone speaking English. He answered all our curious questions and we had fantastic conversations. As it was early in the season we spent the first night in our tent and the second night in the most beautiful yurt we visited during our two months in Kyrgyzstan! Vegetarian food was possible and really nice. The horses were really calm, the landscape just amazing. We loved it very much.
