7 or five bays to visit - we chose the five bay cruise and snorkeled in two bays. There are some bays that are high traffic with restaurants and shops and crowded with people, we skipped those and opted for the less trafficked bays. the scenery is different in each bay, along with colorful fish and a cute puffer fish out guide Martilino pulled up and demonstrated his blowing water out of his tiny mouth and gills. We also held an urchin and felt it moving. Snorkeling and seeing the bays was a highlight for our trip to Huatulco

Great way to see the coastline - We were fortunate enough to be on tour with some really fun people which made the trip even more enjoyable. We saw big turtles swimming by, a "blowhorn" wave by the lighthouse and some great snorkeling. It was a long full day and I did get a bit seasick with the waves but It was all worth it. The beaches are so beautiful everywhere you go along the coast.. One thing I must mention is how great the tour guides are. They are such a professional and friendly bunch. We always used Maxi travel and were not once sorry we did.

Great way to see the coast - Booked a full day tour through our Sunwing rep. Lunch was extra at a stop on the beach. Didn’t tell us snorkel gear was an extra $10pp. Life jackets are provided. It was a great way to see the coast and enjoy the ocean. Surf was rough even for the large boat and 1 person got sea sick. Snorkelling was very good. The crew was great and we had a lot of fun.

Beautiful bays - The snorkeling is nice. The water was quite cloudy on the day we went, but on calmer days it would be a lot of fun.

A Must Tour - We went Dec.13- 2019. Picked up at the hotel, just a few minutes to get to the marina.
They take you to many bays. You go swimming, and snorkling or just hang out on the boat.
After all the swimming they take you to a small village for lunch. Bring lots of pacos ours came to $850.00 p $70.00 Canadian. before the tip. Plate of shrimp, some gwaq. and 3 margaritas. Pricey! $15.00 rental snorkelling gear . but you can bring your own. Beer on board 20p .

Not quite what we thought it would be! - Yes, a nice guy took us to and from the hotel and we boarded the boat in plenty of time. Yes, the boat took us to 7 bays around Huatulco. Yes, we snorkeled and then had lunch and swam in a pretty bay....but since there was only one MC speaking only Spanish we were clueless what we were seeing. We finally asked the MC to tell us in English about where we were and what to expect -- and he did briefly. Way too loud music on the way home....but still fun in a crazy way.

Average ride - I did the five bays and it took a few hours from the cruise dock. The first half of the ride was very good as the guide spoke excellent English and gain great commentary on the land and other information. We saw a blowhole that was interesting. We stopped for 1/2 hour at Maguey Bay for swimming. This was a major disappointment as it was just a beach - no coral or fish. Others commented the water was a bit chilly, so I did not bother to get in, and seeing fish was one of the reasons I signed up. They did serve bananas, watermelon, coke, fresca, water, beer and margaritas the entire trip. The ride back did not have as much commentary. It overall was average.

Lovely but not in English - Booked an English language tour but was in Spanish. I don't believe there is an English tour as the option suggests.

Bad - For $65 dollars a person and on top of that $30 to get picked up at our resort was a red Flag! I said whatever we can take a taxi. But then I received a message saying the excursion ppl were stopping by our resort so we can ride with them. Okay kool no problem.
Then when we get to the port we pay to get in okay kool no issue there. But then there was a confusion or idk but everyone boarded the catamaran but us that were in the vehicle cuz our guide was late with our tickets. So now we are the last ones to board whatever it’s fine we made it. But then the whole ride was not what we expected or what the excursion said we were going to do. Basically it was not good we should have done the $33 dollar excursion it was the same damm thing. Definitely not the party boat
