Highlight of our trip - Best tour I have ever done. The waterfalls exceeded expectations, lots of time to swim there. Our guide, Alex, was excellent, gave us lots of local information on the drive up, which kept it interesting. He was really good with our 2 children (6 & 10). Food at the restaurant after was also excellent. I would highly recommend going with a guide as opposed to on your own, as we would not have known all the routes up and down the falls. 10/10 trip.

Perfect day - The waterfalls were a beautiful place to visit. The water was clean and refreshing. Our guide, Eduardo, was excellent. He helped everyone to walk and climb through several waterfall areas with patience and kindness. The drive was long, and the last part very bumpy, but Eduardo told us many interesting facts about the area, and was very entertaining. Next we had a family style lunch of delicious Mexican dishes at a restaurant near the falls. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

A Wonderful Day Trip - We had a wonderful day with our guide, Alfredo. He was kind and informative, and talked to us about the flora and fauna of the region as we drove. The drive from Huatulco was long, but he was an excellent driver who put us at ease. The falls were beautiful and refreshing. Bring water shoes for easy transitions and better traction on rocks! The lunch afterwards was delicious and special. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful Day Tour - Had a wonderful trip up to the falls with our driver Vinnie, and since there was only 3 of us it felt like a private tour!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable and was right in the river with us at all the great swimming spots. Great stop for food and coffee and an interesting stop at the medicine man’s shop as well. Road is fairly long and bumpy which may not be for the weak of stomach. About 1 hour of rough roads each way. I would definitely recommend this tour

Fabulous nature experience - We had a fantastic adventure with Vinnie our driver! The river and swimming spots are beautiful and the water oh so refreshing! We were a small group of only 3 so it felt almost like a private tour. Vinnie took very good care of us and was right in the water along with us and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about information and history. The road is long, winding and rough but I felt safe with Vinnie's driving skills at all times. Definitely a great tour and I would recommend it to friends!

waterfall tour and lunch - Huatulco is situated with the Pacific on the south and mountains on the north. There are many bays to visit and snorkel, each is different. The waterfalls have a least three destinations to visit and walk and jump off the landings into the water. Its a mostly all day event with a late lunch after touring the waterfalls. Nice to experience the mountains where the falls are located. You drive thru growth of coffee trees and people selling the coffee alongside the road. Alot of the roads in the mountains are being made concrete and very wide but there are still some bumpy sections. The drive is about an hour and a half and there are checkpoints. A banos is not easy to locate, there is one at a stop with the herbalist Rene, well worth the presentation for lessons on herbs and John Lennon's teacher on his weed habit. who knew.

The falls are beautiful and inviting - We took a tour through Sunwing to the falls and overall enjoyed the tour. First the good, the falls were beautiful and inviting and a great way to spend some time. I could have spent even more time enjoying the falls and the different pools that they have to offer. The meal afterwards was also very good with traditional Mexican meal in a venue next to a river a few miles away from the falls. The not so good - the trip to the falls is on a very rough road with numerous switchbacks and speed bumps. They are working on the road so future trips should be better but you may want to confirm prior to going. I have't been motion sick for years but did experience it on the trip up. We did make a couple of stops on the way up the first being a traditional weaver which could have been very good but seemed to take far too long while they tried to encourage you to buy something. This could have been shortened by quite a bit. The next stop was a tasting and sales pitch again at another spot which again was good but far too long in attempts to sell something. There was another stop on the way back down with tasting and sales pitch again taking far too long. Had the stops been shortened and the time better used enjoying the falls I would have rated this as 5 stars despite the road conditions.(you don't expect a paved road when travelling up a mountain in the middle of nowhere Mexico.)
