Embark on an exceptional nature tour and explore the hidden Anse Marron beach situated in the southern part of La Digue island in Seychelles! Accompanied by a local expert and professional guide, your journey will be both secure and thrilling, and you will gain deep insights into the intriguing nature of Seychelles islands. The tour also comprises a light meal at Anse Marron beach as well as transfers during the journey.
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather for the tour (!), you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund.
- Children only above 5 years old and must be accompanied by an adult
- All participants should have a confident level of fitness and understand that this tour is not an easy stroll of leisure walking, at some point we will need to jump and walk on the rocks, which requires some balancing skills. The tour guide is there to assist, but overall self-confidence and some fitness is required.
- • Good shoes are essential! Ideally a pair of trekking shoes and water shoes, as we will walk on land/rocks and enter water as well. Please no flip flops! • A minimum of 1.5L drinking water (per person) is essential! Light lunch which is mostly fruits will be provided. • Please go on a tour light - towel, bathing suit/bikini, camera, sunscreen, mosquito repellent (if needed).
- Cruise liner clients will be refunded 50% cost, if cancelled withing 24 hours of the starting time, in case of ship’s unability to dock at the port of La Digue
- Clients need to be either on La Digue or Praslin. Clients who are staying on Mahe, please refrain from booking this tour, as it will not be enough time for you to travel to La Digue and be on time for the tour.

Best French Guide - A perfect visit with a real Seychelles guide to recommend for any guided tour in French and English. In line with previous reviews, our guide knows the island perfectly, gives us information and who more a very good animator. For a visit to the top well plan the necessary mentioned namely trail or hiking shoes, sunscreen, hat, glasses and minimum 1.5L WATER PER PERSON. The beach can be earned, some passages are steep but not impassable either. Brown handle for lunch is sublime. The way back is less difficult than the first part. Departure from Grande Anse and arrival in Cove source of money. TO RECOMMEND

Great unique excursion - We saw unique nature and our guide Gerad explained the past of the Seychelles, showed us animals and guided us safely over rocks. The fruit basket was a nice matching change and we could observe many fish. Conclusion: highly recommended

Great experience - It was a really great experience, Gerard is soooo friendly and funny and caring... He tells you a lot of stories about the nature and the culture of the island. And he will take you by the hand and lead through all the difficult parts of the trail. We felt very safe and welcomed all the time.
I strongly recommend against trying to do this trail by yourself. Most likely you'll be fine but if something really happens it can go sooo much wrong. The odds do not worth it. And what is most important - you'll miss all the information about this place, you aon't be able to meet all those creatures, to watch the birds feeding their babies in the middle of the jungle.
The trip with Gerard worths every penny you pay for it, trust me

a must in Seychelles - even though your hike is adventurous walking in nature, sea water, on the rocks, and so on, every moment worth it! especially the guide, gerard's tremendous knowledge and story telling are unforgettable!

The best experience in La Digue - Beautiful experience for an unforgettable nature and beach. Adventurous, sometimes challenging, but Gerard is always available for support, explanations but also to make it all very fun and with the necessary breaks to take a breath!
Small group, the added value.
I recommend it, evaluating your physical condition, because it is quite challenging, but do not be afraid if you do not have particular problems, because it is really unmissable in La Digue!

Perfect Tour - Perfect Guide - Great Experience! We enjoyed the trip. Gerard was a great guide with a fantastic knowledge about the island and especially the nature. Prepared a great fruit basket for lunch. He was kind and a very good guide! Highly recommend the tour as the beach anse marron is one of the most stunning beaches we have ever seen! But keep in mind you need to be physically in good shape as it is a little tough!

Great experience - Great experience, fantastic nature, indeed it is phyiscally challenging - mostly due to the temperature and humidity.
„Never walk alone“ - do not hike this trail without an experienced guide.

The most beautiful beach on La Digue - Excellent tour in La Digue with a very nice tour guide (Gerard). Amazing scenery. Bring plenty of water, good running/hiking shoes and water shoes.

The best local guide for Anse Marron! - Gerard is super friendly, attentive and strives to ensure the safety of the whole group. He explains a lot about the background of the island, the food and naming culture and has answers to every question. The lunch basket was handmade with love. You can feel that he’s a proud local who is eager to show you the best what La Digue has to offer! I strongly recommend going on this tour with him! Thank you Gerard!!

Can't do it at all!!!!! - Since the excursion did not take place at all, I cannot give a review about this one either. Because the date we booked on November 24, 2024 was not met by Gerad. After consulting him by phone, he only briefly informed us that he does not work on a Sunday. But we only had time with our AIDA ship on this one day. In this respect, we ask for a refund of the amount of 100.--€ to our account.
