Amazing tour guide, tons of wildlife - This tour was incredible! Sanchez was an amazing guide. He was able to spot so many animals that I would not have seen if he didn’t point them out. We saw sloths, toucans, a lot of different birds, turtles, a coati, an owl, howler monkeys, and more! I would definitely recommend this trip if you’re looking to get an up close view of the wonderful wildlife of Costa Rica. We were traveling on a budget and this was definitely worth the money!

Guided Raft in La fortuna - Carlos Sanchez was our excellent guide. Amazing how he could spot animals, reptiles, birds and trees, etc. Very polite and helpful. Highly recommend for a great experience !

Unforgettable afternoon on river tour - A pass that leaves a mark, well organized activity, professionals attentive at all times and watchful of all with explanations and sightings of all kinds of animals, thank you Fail to you and your entire team for an unforgettable afternoon, if I returned to Costa Rica I would repeat without hesitation

Boat trip on the Peñasblancas River - We spent a fantastic afternoon taking a fun boat ride seeing animals while telling us curiosities of the area and nature.

Mostly peaceful float down the river - The company was great - as was the driver. Our guide was also wonderful handling the raft & giving us some info. And while I did hope to see more wildlife - wild animals can't be controlled - nor should they be. We did see a sloth at the exit of the parking lot, before going to the river bank (the luck of which the guide often mentioned) & numerous howler monkeys, as well as some lovely birds - two of which I was even able to get a decent photo of. But a pair of red tanagers (so tough to get, usually) I couldn't - despite them standing on the sand for a while - since we didn't slow down at all. However, our guide was also extremely arrogant. He apparently knows everything about everything - even when another guest asked him if he'd heard of something he clearly hadn't - including where we live, even though he'd only visited there briefly. He's also certain he'll live longer than us (the visitors) because Costa Rica is perfect and y'know, pura vida. And then, whenever any of the guys in front spotted something too late to stop, he'd tell us we "need to pay attention". This, despite the fact that the guests said almost nothing the entire time & were intently scanning (one of the guys in front consistently saw howlers before anyone else) & I've been seeing things before others on this trip, for weeks now. All of us tried to give him hints by saying how it was the perfect time to go down the river & how peaceful it was. I still tipped him & the driver well because of the latter, the company & what he did do well. But to Carribean Winds (I think they'll know who the guide was): Insulting & talking down to your guests is NOT in the spirit of "pura vida" & it really sullies what would be an otherwise must-do while in La Fortuna.

Relaxing and learnt a great deal - Guide was brilliant. Really knowledgeable and he had a good sense of humour. It was a very relaxing trip. Would have liked to gave seen more wildlife
