Safari float down the river is a Must! - Johnny and Fi were excellent guides. Very knowledgeable and very fun! I’d go again in a heartbeat! One of the best excursions yet!

Highly recommend - Highly recommend. Amazing guides and great views. We saw a sloth, a few iguanas and tons of monkeys and birds. The guides (Fai and Fabian) were very instructive about animals habits, costa rican culture and nature in general.

Fantastic tour with great guides! - The guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. They knew so much and were great at spotting the wildlife. We saw a huge group of toucans, some iguanas, howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, and plenty of other birds. The river was stunning. Even if you don’t see much wildlife it is so beautiful and peaceful listening to the sounds of the river and birds. Highly recommend!

A brilliant river trip with top people - Fai is a fantastic guide. We signed up for a morning trip down the river. Picked up from our hotel on time and taken in a minibus to the start. Saw a sloth in the launch area and then travelled down the river in a rocky way with Fai helping us and pointing out howler monkeys, birds and a tayra. Amazing wildlife on a stunning river. We are occasional kayakers but Fai helped and guided us with amazing skill and knowledge. A brilliant trip and lovely people. No hesitation in a 5 star recommendation.

Safari Float - An opportunity to relax and enjoy nature - Guide & Captain Failan was awesome. With a little help from First Mate Bryan, they navigated us safely down the river. Failan was very informative about nature around us. He pointed out several animals that we never knew were there. He told us about Costa Rica and Costa Rican life, the rainforest, and many other things. He was very professional. It was very relaxing, informative and wonderful being that close to nature. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide.

An absolute must do in Costa Rica - I was very lucky to find out about this company and the safari float just a couple of days before leaving for Costa Rica and I am so happy I did. Everything was just incredible - from the initial contact and whatsapp messages with Carlos (who was extremely friendly and accommodating); to the driver, our guide, and the activity itself. Everyone at Caribbean Winds clearly take a lot of pride in what they do, and it really shows. We decided to holiday in Costa Rica due to the country's eco-tourism credentials, and this activity was an ideal way to admire the wildlife in a respectful way. Unfortunately, another company we used in Manuel Antonio for a kayak trip in the magroves, were activle trying to encourage people to interact and feed the wildlife which we disapprove of. I don't have enough words to praise our guide, Faylan. His passion and enthusiasm was infectious. We got to see plenty of wildlife while learning about this wonderful country. We worked together to fish a plastic bottle out of the river, we shared some beautifully presented fruit after the tour, and I was lucky enough to help Faylan plant an avocado tree at the river bank which was quite emotional. This trip was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica, and I throughly recommend it to everyone who is visiting the area, it is a must-do activity.

A great nature float - The float was amazing! We saw lots of howler monkeys, a caiman, lizards, and many birds. The guide was lots of fun and very informative.
