Great morning hike - Our family had a great time with Emmanuel on our 3 hour morning hike. We chose to do both the nature and lava trails at Mirador el Silencio and it was just right. Emmanuel enthusiastically showed us animals and plants along the nature trail in the rain forest. He is very friendly, knowledgable, and engaging. We saw monkeys, snakes, birds, and a coati. The views of Arenal and surrounding areas from the lava trails were well worth the extra bit of hiking. The fresh fruit at the end was a delicious treat.

Very competent guide coupled with a lot of fun and expertise - Emanuel has guided us very competently and passionately through the volcanic area and has responded to our needs and questions perfectly. His enthusiasm and expertise about flora, fauna and the volcano is rousing and impressive. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a day, arranged by MA Beach Concierge, that included transportation, volcano hike, Mistico Hanging Bridge tour, lunch and a dip in the La Fortuna waterfall. We absolutely loved our tour and tour guide Emmanuel! He made us feel like family and he is highly recommended - Emmanuel was super knowledgeable and loved to teach us as we hiked through our tour. He is a native who knows his land. He took his time through our journey using his eyes, ears and all of his senses. We saw a lot of cool things and as he says “ your destiny in what you see may be different from others”. We had young and old in our 6 person group and he made sure that we went at a pace that would satisfy us. He had his spotting scope and made sure everyone got to see the wildlife. By the time the tour was over, we had made a new friend! Pura Vida!

Great hike with a knowledgeable guide who's passionate about Costa Rican nature - Emmanuel was a terrific guide. Very knowledgeable about Costa Rican nature - from geology to botany and zoology - and also history and anthropology as well. The hike featured incredible views of the volcano with numerous stops to point out hidden wildlife and interesting examples of rock and lava. It's very clear that Emmanuel is very experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate about Costa Rican nature. The tour was flexible and was tailored to our groups abilities and Emmanuel was very considerate.

Top hiking - The excursion went very well, the guide was attentive. He taught us lots of things about the volcano and nature in general. We saw lots of animals (birds, monkeys). You can go there with your eyes closed
