The river canyon is just a 5-minute drive from the main reception. Discover the best activities near the Arenal Volcano.

After a brief 5-minute walk through the forest, visitors arrive at the Maleku Village at the base of the Arenal River. Here, the natives will present a 20-minute introduction to their culture, medicine, and traditions. Following this, participants will take tubes and embark on a 10-minute hike to the river, where they will enjoy a tubing adventure and receive a short safety briefing. After a brief walk, the group reaches the river’s edge, where the tubing experience begins.

Each participant receives a rafting “tube” to unleash their adrenaline as they navigate the crystal-clear rapids of the Arenal River. Afterwards, guests can use the changing rooms before returning to the Go Adventure base to continue their next adventure.
