The Thrill of a Lifetime! - My daughter and I did the zipline/rappelling adventure and had a blast even though it rained (hard) for a portion of the excursion. We saw monkies playing in the treetops just before we zipped off on our own advanture. It was my first time ziplining and I was terrified! The guides were patient and inserted just enough humor to make me feel safe and confident. I would do it again in a heartbeat! The indigenous experience was so interesting but short. I would like to know more. Skip the thermomineral pools at the adjacent resort and head to the public location in LaFortuna. We opted for the professional photos at an extra cost. They were 100% worth it!

Amazingly kid doable - I was pretty nervous taking my two little girls, but they assigned them each a guide- Rafa and Fernando, and they weren’t scared at all! Rafa gave my littlest a piggy back ride down the hard parts of the trail and she just adored him! We saw toucans, spider monkeys, howler monkeys and white faced monkeys- literally hanging beside us on the zip line. It was amazing!!! The girls were totally comfortable and it was such an amazing course. Tubing the River was intense- I fell out 4 times and was rescued frequently by a lovely guide called Richard. Thank you Richard for saving my life 😂. The girls were again assigned personal tubing guides that prevented them from falling out at all, so they got the pleasure of laughing at me every time I did from the comfort and safety of their guided tubes. It was really the staff that made this experience wonderful for us. Thanks guys!

A+ experience! Beautiful and fun! - Wonderful experience. David was our zip line guide leader. He was very experienced and made us feel very safe while still feeling relaxed while having fun. The views were so scenic and beautiful while we were zipping through the rainforest. The gentleman who took photos was great too! Would definitely recommend!

Fun experience, but insufficient safety instructions - Would not recommend - fun experience, but we were injured and did not feel safety was prioritized (see below). Good: property is scenic and photos ($15pp) were worth it. Bad: safety instructions were insufficient - for ziplining, the presentation was rushed (employee was speaking quickly and quietly) and the employee did not fully explain how to brake. For rappelling, there was no safety presentation at all; the employees attaching us to the ropes just said "small jump" and did not explain that you needed to do small jumps the entire way down. This lead to 3 out of 4 in our party slamming against the wall as we had never rappelled before. Employees also rushed participants through the activities instead of ensuring they understood the directions - one member of our party received a black eye and cut his foot after not being clearly told he needed to brake on the next zipline.

Adventure Go: Where Your Thrill Ride Could End in a Hospital Bed - Do not book with Adventure Go unless you're prepared to gamble with your life. My friend followed every instruction but still flew into a tree at full speed because the guides were too distracted handling two zip lines at once and neglecting to execute the break when necessary to decelerate the rider. The result? A leg shattered in 10 places, emergency airlift to San José, and an uncertain future of whether she'll ever walk normally again. Their so-called "safety briefing" is a joke—rushed, vague, and given in broken English. They overbook tours to cram in profits, leaving guides scrambling and ignoring basic safety like braking assistance or padding the trees. Want to know what happens when they fail? My friend’s shin and heel are crushed, her medical bills are skyrocketing, and her life is forever changed. Read the 1-star reviews: overcrowding, reckless time schedules, and a complete disregard for human life. This company is an accident waiting to happen. Don’t let it be you.
