This trip is an ideal choice for adventure seekers looking to experience intense rafting in a full day’s excursion. It’s particularly recommended for groups of friends and fitness-enthusiastic youth. It takes us approximately seven hours to complete the whole adventure on the Balsa River, a mere 35 minutes away from Fortuna.

Our voyage takes us through farms and small communities, eventually reaching the river. After reaching the river, we board the raft for a 2.5-hour journey downstream, accompanied by stunning views of the forest and a chance to see some wildlife.

The Balsa River, situated close to La Fortuna, offers an inclusive trip, featuring a fresh fruit feast and some local beer for those legally allowed to drink. An excursion to an organic farm is also in our itinerary.
