The kayaking adventure starts with a convenient pick-up from your chosen hotel or Airbnb. A scenic 45-minute drive takes you to El Castillo, offering breathtaking views of the dry side of the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato.
Upon arrival at the launch site, our certified team will prepare the equipment, provide a brief safety briefing, and supply you with water.
Next, enjoy a 6-kilometer paddle (roundtrip) on the tranquil waters of Lake Arenal. Spend 2 hours on the water, where you can observe various species of monkeys and birds, including the Tiger Heron, Great Egret, Anhinga, Toucans, Red Macaw, Howler Monkeys, Little Blue Heron, and more.
Lake Arenal, located in Costa Rica’s northern highlands, is the country’s largest lake, covering 85 square kilometers. Its depth ranges from 30 to 60 meters, depending on the season.
Following the kayaking, a 20-minute drive takes you to El Silencio, where you can walk through stunning landscapes and observe diverse wildlife. This experience offers the opportunity to hike in the heart of the rainforest.
