We make an adventure surrounded by nature and with spectacular views of the area and the volcano.\nThe tour consists of 5 rappels an 1 zipline in which you will experience different forms of descent by touching the wall or free descents, fly over the tree and canyon you can also enjoy a nice walk inside the river canyon that has small crystalline pools where you can make small jumps, you will feel an approach with nature , flora and fauna of the forest.\n The rappels have heights between 20 meters, 25 meters, 35mts up to 60 meters high, in addition we have two ropes, the main one through which the client travels and the second rope that is the safety rope to make the controlled descent and safer. At the end of the tour you can enjoy lunch.

Fantastic! - The staff was so fun, the repelling, hiking through the rainforest and ziplining was amazing—so glad we did this! For reference, we are in our early 60s, hike quite a bit and are in decent but not great shape. We were very comfortable with the exertion needed but I wouldn’t do this if you don’t hike, have any fear of heights or mobility issues—otherwise, go for it! We wore Chacos and Keens, which were perfect as you’re jumping in, repelling and hiking through water. They offer you an awesome lunch and FREE photos—not only the best value but the highlight of our 4 days in La Fortuna.

1000% recommended - An unforgettable experience. Far and away the best we did in the 5 days we stayed in La Fortuna. The team of very attentive, friendly and experienced guides. At all times we feel safe. The amazing places, everything well organized in time and form. We recommend it at 1000%, you can not stop doing this activity with them. I sincerely congratulate you not only for the great adventure you deliver but also for the sympathy and closeness you have. Thank you so much.

Best tour ever for waterfalls and nature - This was the best tour ever! Several hours in the rainforest up close with waterfalls, walking and wading through streams, and a little zip line experience. The guides were very fun and made sure we were safe through the slippery terrain - always offering a hand and showing us the path forward. I felt very safe with the rappelling and using the ropes to stabilize while walking through the streams. There was a traditional lunch at the end that tasted amazing, especially after hiking through the rainforest. I would repeat this tour again and again!

Exhilarating with top notch safety - My small family had a phenomenal time with the guides, Victor & Beifferson (sp?) It was a cool, rainy day, but the water temperature was not too cold. You could go as fast or slowly as you wished, which I really appreciated since this was our first time canyoning. It was exhilarating, and the safety protocols were impeccable.

Amazing! 100% recommend!! - We did the canyoning/rapelling with Maquique on Dec 30th. It was early morning and raining heavily, yet it was easily our FAVORITE activity during our time in Costa Rica. We were an extended family of 6, and I was so nervous to do it. Our guides William and Kenneth made it so fun and engaging that I after a while I forgot to be scared. It was raining a lot during our time, but we had the absolute best time. The whole team was so professional from beginning to end, (starting with communicating the evening before confirming the activity and pick up information) yet it felt like a personal experience. They knew I was nervous so they made sure I was helped during the harder patches and never made me feel I was holding them back or rush me in any way. It was over and beyond that they provided the pictures as well. The food at the end of the experience was outstanding as well.
We will treasure our time and memories and recommend without any reservations Maquique Adventure

A very nice experience - The guides were really nice and patient, they take pictures that can be downloaded to our phone for free at the end of the route. Sensational experience and good security measures. I highly recommend!

Great day - so much on this tour! - Great day with Maquique! You get canyoning, rappels, zip lining, jumping into a pool, trek through the jungle - so much on this tour! Loved that the biggest rappel is the last one as you really get to enjoy it. Felt very safe, fun and kind staff. A+++ all around! My only regret is that I wish I’d brought my camera/phone/gopro as there is a lot I would have recorded.

Costa Rica Must DO!!!! - This is a MUST DO experience!! It was amazing. The canyoning and zip lines are incredible by themselves but our guides ( Dorio, Kenneth C, Mauricio and Brieferson) made the experience even better!! Then to end it with an incredible authentic meal. I would definitely do this again!! Pura Vida!!

Great company - Great experience. Very friendly operators and was very helpful to us throughout the adventure. They explained safety mechanisms at each and every steps. Even when walking through the trails or water they were always guiding us and made sure we were safe.

Amazing experience - We loved this activity and it is our best experience from the vacation. The tour guides were very friendly and they had complimentary service for the pictures. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend them. Their customer service was excellent as well. They responded immediately for our questions on WhatsApp
