More than a boat ride! - We wanted to see wildlife and we did see 3 different types of monkeys, some birds and cayman, even babies. We were fed a traditional Costa Rican lunchtime meal and it was true to their crusine and good. The had a fruit platter and drinks for us when we first arrived which was greatly appreciated. After the boat ride, we had a demonstration of how sugar cane is harvested, as well as a tasting of sugar cane alcohol. They also had fresh coffee made the old fashion way and pure chocolate to make hot chocolate which I tried with the pure sugar and hmmmmmmmm good. The bus ride to and from the river was a bit long but worth it. The guide was excellent, as well as the boat and bus drivers.

Shuttle to Con Negro then boat on Rio Frio - If you are over 5’5”, you will find the knees hitting the seat in front of you for over an hour and a half each way. Thought it was more of river cruise, but boat would stop for 15 minutes to see one howler monkey Very slow, relatively boring, cramped bus Not that enjoyable
