Excellent chocolate tour in La Fortuna - My family had a lovely experience and we highly recommend this tour. My kids are 7, 13, and 16 and they all were engaged in learning about and making chocolate. The chocolate was incredibly delicious, as was the coffee and all of the fruit we got to enjoy. This beautiful farm is truly a family operation and everyone was welcoming, kind, and so knowledgeable. Wonderful highlight of our trip!

The BEST Chocolate Tour in Costa Rica - This is THE best chocolate tour in all of Costa Rica! This is a family owned business, and our guide and the rest of the staff were kind, friendly, informative, and helpful. We got to learn so much about different types of fruit, coffee, and the cacao plant. We got to try making chocolate and when I tell you it was the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted, that would be an under exaggeration. You get a tour of the whole farm, lots of fruit to eat and try, lots of chocolate including cacao beans and hot chocolate to taste, and rum and coffee too! 10/10 would recommend! This was the absolute high point of my trip!

Do not miss this! - Really helpful tour guide, with tons of delicious chocolate and local fruits. Don Olivio went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. A must do when in La Fortuna! Suitable for all ages - despite being the only group on the tour without young kids, we still were welcomed and accommodated.

Great tour - This tour was a last minute thing for us but I’m so glad we did it! Family owned and operated and our guide was informative and funny. We had a variety of fruits as well as chocolate in various stages and also sugar cane. We learned a lot about a variety of things. I would highly recommend. We have 3 teenagers and they all loved it! We even saw a sloth close by. 10/10

Wonderful - Absolutely loved it, the tour was fun, informative....there was a sloth living 5 feet from where we parked our car. We learned a lot and our young children enjoyed it (5, 3). They gave us fresh fruit and chocolate off and on during the tour, it's a lot more than a chocolate tour for sure! One of my favorite tours in Costa Rica for sure.

Awesome - This was 100% worth the money. Tour guide took his time to show us around and explaining the different items they grow. Tour included lots of different fruits and chocolate to try :) they were also extremely nice and the chocolate was amazing, Would recommend. I would also bring bug spray made the mistake of not having any.

Yummy chocolate and great guide! - At first it seems you are in a residential neighborhood but once you go in you can see the cocoa plantation and all the other fruit trees they have. Pablo was our guide and he was great and entertaining. You will get to try different kinds of fruit and end with a great explanation of how cocoa pods are processed to make chocolate. We had done chocolate making tours in Antigua Guatemala before but this one actually shows you the whole process and you get to try cocoa after it’s roasted (before it’s ground) and of course after it’s ground.
The chocolate was delicious and the have vanilla orchids on site too which they use to mix with the chocolate!
Say hi to Alaska, their friendly dog, if you go here!

Authentic small production experience - We did the chocolate/coffee tour at 1pm. Was a fairly big group with about 20 people total, but the tour was very informative and the quality of the chocolate and coffee was excellent (our favorite was the chocolate). They give you quite a bit of fresh fruit to try from their farm throughout the tour. The property is small and is essentially attached to the owner's house, but we liked this better than going to a large mass production facility. Would recommend if you're looking for an authentic low key experience where you can taste some quality chocolate and coffee.
