Eden chocolate farm is a Vibe - Our Guide Yari was energetic and funny. While strolling through the cocoa trees she even managed to show us a sloth and howling monkeys in the trees. Yari is definitely in love with chocolate and managed to inspire us. The whole cocoa farm is a vibe, and we loved staying there afterwards and speak with the nice staff. Its a must do when staying in La Fortuna

Great experience! - Going to the Chocolate tour was so much fun.One reason I liked it is because you can see and learn how the chocolate is made. For example the tour guide told us about things that harm coco plants and things that are helpful to coco plants.Another thing that I enjoyed is making different things from coco plants. For example the tour guide let us try different spices with melted chocolate and even let us make our own chocolate.😀

It’s a great experience... - It’s a great experience to do while in La Fortuna, and you get to eat plenty of chocolate. Our guide. Yari, was fantastic. She was very energetic and she showed a big enthusiasm for Costa Rica, chocolate, and ecological conservation. We were able to learn a lot about the chocolate making process, which was nice. There were two things that we didn’t enjoy so much. First, there are a lot of mosquitos. This isn’t in the tour’s control but be prepared with a lot of bug spray as you will get bitten several times. Second, there is some very cheesy cheering and chanting that is done during the bonbon making. It’s cute, at first, but feels very unnecessary and made the experience drag a bit. We are a younger couple so that might not be intended for us, might be better for families with children, but we didn’t think it was needed.
