San Rafael de Guatuso - This river protects a good portion of the forest on its banks, connected through its tributaries with dozens of small patches of forest, creating a highway for several species of animals. They use the ground, water, and branches to move daily through the river in search of food and other needs. It is easy to observe monkeys, sloths, iguanas, turtles, caiman, and numerous species of birds, as well as dense vegetation of coastal trees that support the soil and prevent erosion and floods.
A quiet tour to enjoy the peace and sounds of the forest. We will use our senses of sight, hearing, and smell to locate animals. The boat captain is also an experienced naturalist guide with great knowledge to interpret the ecosystem and provide interesting information about it. At the end, we will share an unforgettable experience, visiting a Costa Rican family on their farm, and enjoying homemade snacks.

This safari delivered! - Our guide Jorge found it all! So many monkeys. Traveling troupes of spider monkeys, fighting gangs of white-faced capuchins, howler monkey momma and baby - as well as just about everything else. Jorge was delightful and conscious. We couldn't be happier.

Animals Everywhere!!! - This was a fun and eventful river tour!
Even though this was the "dry season" in CR we had an abundance of rains this week which was great for the river tour.
Our family of 4 really enjoyed the variety of plants and animals that were along the riverbanks. We saw most of what was on our bucket list of things to see - toucans, sloths, howler monkeys, river otters, and more!
Our guide Carlos was WONDERFUL and kept us educated, safe, and having the best time. He pointed out things we didn't even know to look for hidden in the canopy. We learned quite a bit about every creature we spotted. The kids really had a fun time!
Highly recommended!!!

Great time seeing so many sloths - We had such an amazing experience with Caesar and Omar. Caesar was a great guide on the river and we were able to such a wide variety of wildlife. I was amazed how he was able to find some many sloths throughout the boat trip

most packed wildlife visit of our 3 weeks in costa rica - we had a great time on this trip, definitely the place where we saw the most wildlife in the shortest amount of time. highlights were a whole slew of toucans, a mama sloth and her tiny fuzzy baby, and a caiman (my 5 year old was thrilled). the guides were super friendly and knowledgable, and great with my kids (5 year old was a little grouchy because he'd gotten hurt the day before). ending the trip at a local's house for some snacks and delicious coffee was a lovely way to cap off the trip. i'd definitely recommend.

Amazing peaceful tour - Cesar was a friendly and informative guide. We saw a wonderful variety of animals he pointed out to us. The float was peaceful and relaxing. Just the sounds of nature and the farmers around us. Accompanied by the sound of the water splashed by the oars.

Wonderful Nature Tour- you will not be disappointed! - Had a great day on the river either Victor, Fernando and Jose. They were able to show us some amazing wildlife— monkeys, sloths, iguanas, cayman and much more! It was a very peaceful day and learned a lot. The tour was great— I highly recommend this tour— make sure to ask for Victor!

Monkeys and fabulous birds - awesome time! - We had four generations of family there, 10 people ranging in age from 6 to 76. Our guides, Pablo and Bernardo, work great. Sense of humor, pointing out animals, plants, birds.
After the rafting trip, we were brought back to a house where a nice snack was served. Queso fresco, banana bread, fresh local juices. At the house, there were horses, chickens, and a birdfeeder was set up with bananas. There are no words to describe how awesome the birdfeeder was. Every time I went by it, there was gorgeous birds. It is a birder’s dream!!!

Safari float that delighted the whole family - Our two children (5 and 8), became instant rafting fans thanks to a wonderful guided float down the Corobici River. The 7-mile stretch of river was a nice mix of class 1 rapids that were manageable for kids with calm waters where our guide pointed out monkeys, birds, and iguanas along the banks. The included transportation, lunch, snacks, and beverages were all excellent and made for a smooth trip, with the driver very professional and accommodating for breaks. A great way for the family to experience the outdoors in Costa Rica!

Unforgettable experience - Absolutely wonderful experience. Very professionally managed including light lunch at the end at the home of a native Costa Rican who prepared local dishes. Our guide, Carlos, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and friendly. So much different wildlife! Most incredible--we saw the elusive Agami Heron. Our guide said this was only the second one he has ever seen. Absolutely stunning!
