Hidden gem! Loved this experience and walkable from La Fortuna! - This place was not on the list our resort provided for tours so we decided to go on our own and so glad we did. We really enjoyed this tour. There are plenty of coffee and chocolate tours in the area but I loved that this one incorporated the stingless bees from the region as well. So interesting to learn about them and try all of the varieties of honey! The tour takes you on a walk through the beautiful botanical gardens, you'll see cacao and coffee plants up close and then get to grind and make your own chocolate bar and taste a variety of coffees and hot chocolate. This was so special and informative and our guide was amazing. Plus we didn't have a car so it was very convenient to be able to walk to the town of La Fortuna for lunch afterward.

A magical experience - Highly recommend visiting this magical place if you’re near La Fortuna! We had a great experience on our tour with Johnny and Edgar. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable and taught us all about coffee, chocolate and honey bees in Costa Rica. We got to taste different kinds of honey as we walked around the beautiful garden and visited various species of bees and plants. On the second part of the tour, we made our own chocolate, and ground and tasted different kinds of coffee beans. A very fun and enriching afternoon!

Great Experience for Our Family - We learned so much about the bees and tasting many different types of honey. Walking through the garden was really impressive. We also enjoyed making our own chocolate bars and coffee. This was perfect for our family of 5 (three teenage girls) and I highly recommend the tour!

Great Tour, very informative, fun, beautiful - This was a great informative excursion, we learned a lot about bees and honey and got to taste a lot of different flavors of honey, they were all great! They have a beautiful garden with so many different species of plants, we couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. We learned a lot about chocolate and coffee as well. We also got to make chocolate and coffee with different infusions of our choosing. Our guide was very informative and knew what he was talking about and was able to answer all of our questions without hesitation, he was thrilled to share his knowledge to us, we learned a lot.

Arenal Bee and Honey - This tour was so much fun! Johnny did a great job with our tour! He knew his bees and his honey. The tasting was fascinating! The garden is beautiful with great views. We then enjoyed making and tasting our own chocolate and coffee. A delightful experience. I highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience - We had such a wonderful experience at the honey farm. Dylan was extremely knowledgeable and we learned more than we expected about bees, chocolate and coffee.
The grounds were beautifully curated by Edgar. Beyond bees we were able to see many beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies.
The owners extended us a special courtesy which we are very grateful for. Pura Vida.

Amazing!!! - Jhonny was the best guide who’s so passionate and knowledgeable. We got tour with bee farms and coffee and cocoa farm, we learned a lot of history and the processes about all the produces and he was so nice who allowed us to explore and try different honey and cacao. You should come here if you’re looking for a tour for cacao and honey. They keep native bees and hives and it’s truly enjoyable and valuable experience you only can do in here

Coffee, Chocolate, Honey-moon! - Johnny was a great guide and super knowledgeable, he was entertaining and kept us laughing the entire time. We learned a lot about the rich history behind coffee and chocolate, while having so much fun! and he gave us a surprise at the end.

Simple tour, but with good knowledge - Simple tour, with basic structure, but with a lot of knowledge passed on apiculture, cocoa and coffee. The facilities could be better. Positive point for attention.
