Essential if you are in sand - Abel and Jose were excellent, they made us feel a Tico more, they know like no one else the sites. Without a doubt one of the essential tours to do if you are in Arenal. Pure life

Just do it! Being scared is okay but be not afraid! - Wow. I had some crazy anxiety deciding to go on this adventure combo feeling mostly unsure about how my body will keep up. My guide, Norlan went above and beyond to make sure we as a group had fun and made it so personal by making sure each person in our group was feeling included, safe, and making it through the hikes and adventures okay. The experience was so much fun! I highly encourage everyone to do this! The Waterfall was gorgeous and we got very lucky seeing the volcano with no clouds or rain. Wear good shoes and be prepared! You’ll love the whole experience!

A wonderful day! - Started out at the waterfall which was great because we got there before the crowds started coming in. The volcano hike was fun with plenty of scenic (and animal!) views. If you want to see the hanging bridges, would recommend trying to buy a combo ticket beforehand because it's not included in this particular tour, but we were able to add the hanging bridges tour to our itinerary same-day with ease with the company. Augustin, Abel, and Jaido (sp?) were amazing!

Pura vida! - This tour is amazing. It started off getting picked up at a local area. We then went to the first stop, which was the waterfall. You get an opportunity to change here if you want. This waterfall is a beauty. After a hike down some stairs, you get to your destination. I suggest watershoes as the rocks hurt and are slippery. We were able to see out first sloth here too (just by chance, never expected it). After a short while, it's time to head back up all those stairs. Then, heading to the next destination is the Volcano. Such a fun hike. It's not too bad of a hike, so don't worry too much. There are plenty of stops to learn about the Volcano and scenery (p.s. bring water). Our amazing tour guides Norrrrlan and Abel were fantastique. They were super friendly and pointed out things we wouldn't see on our own. Got our first view of toucans and some more sloths. We happened to see some rare owls too. The education on the plants and species given by this amazing duo is well worth it. The final view of the Volcano is breathtaking. The Hot Springs were okay. It was warm and not deep. Still; Overall, 5/5. Pura vida!

Perfect full day tour - We had the pleasure of doing a full day tour with Frantine Augustine. We had a cold plunge in La Fortuna waterfall, did the volcano hike, as well as a the hanging bridges tour in Mistico park and a visit to the hot springs. Frantine was the best guide ever; doing everything he could to spot rare birds and animals, but also being funny and answering al our questions througout the day. One side note; they cancel all ATV tours in the national parks! These touristic rides simply scare off all wildlife and do not belong in such beautiful nature!!

Go ahead and book the tour, you won't regret it! - The tour was amazing! The tour guide Eric was full of knowledge and he spotted different plants and animals along the way. The hike was doable for everyone of all ages. I'm not a hiker at all but I was able to do it. We saw sloths, tucanes and interesting plants on the way to the Volcano. The Waterfall was refreshing and breathtaking. The lunch we had was the typical Costa Rican Casado which was filling and appropriate after a long hike. Lastly the hot springs was the perfect finishing touch to the trip. Overall I had a wonderful time due to the knowledge and experience of the staff. The tour was well-planned and the pace was perfect.

Charismatic tour guides - We did the waterfall, volcano hike and hot springs package. This was really great value for money with pick up and drop off from our elected accomodation. Not to mention we had a topical Costa Rican lunch included in our package which was so delicious and generous portions. The tour it’s self was great as we had charismatic tour guides Norrrland and Augusto making the journey fun. Great way to explore La Fortuna / Arenal.

Don't throw the money... - They are not worth this Tour. It is absolutely unnecessary to have a Guide, I recommend you go to the park on your own, so you can enter whenever you want, without limiting yourself to the Tour schedule. Think that if it rains, you may want to come in a couple of hours later, but if you already have a tour, you won’t be able to. And I repeat that it is absolutely unnecessary to take a Guide. I give you an example. In the cataract, if it has rained, you will not be able to bathe, and in any case they will make you wait an hour before you can return. If you walk fast, you will have to wait for the group, and in our case, our Guide waited for other groups, not just ours. Several groups joined. Seriously, if I had to do it again, I'd do it on my own. It's very simple and you don't miss anything. And I traveled with my wife and three young children. By the way, the food was absolutely smokeless, and the Guide was the worst I've ever seen, I had no idea and let out bad jokes, we looked like sheep. Admission to the park for children up to eight years old is free of charge.
